This location is a treasure for those looking for a peaceful place away from civilization with luxury and great food. The place may be hard to find in many instances because the rps locks onto small country roads, which are fun to drive on, but some cars might not like this. Better to follow the directions as stated on the palais website. The palace is an ancient village palace which was rebuilt with a century and modernized a few years ago. It is a truly fantastic location and tastefully renovated. Recently, the hotel changed ownership and opened under the new owners in early july 2020. The hotel had recently changed ownership and opened in early July 2020. We spent a week there after opening. The initial dissatisfaction was largely offset by the staff, food, and lodging. The staff went above and beyond what could be expected from hotel personnel, especially luis did an outstanding job. The lodging is excellent, very quiet, with a nice mix of modern and antique, and excellent sleeping quality. However, the room could use a coffee maker. The absence of golf possibilities was largely compensated by the food. The new proprietors are tied to famous Spanish chef Nacho Manana, who manages two Michelin star restaurants, a one-star restaurant, and other culinary endeavors, so it is clearly more than average in culinary terms, and we loved this twice daily. The building was lovelyly renovated, with a striking interior design. It was very clean and welcoming. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The meal was delicious and tastefully presented. The breakfast was also excellent. Just don't expect a golf course, it will make you satisfied.

We had a great time at this hotel over the new year period, the food was delicious and the rooms were a good size with great views. The hotel is central to many places in Asturias, highly recommended.

We spent a week volunteering with English Escape, a company that provides unforgettable cultural exchange experiences between native English speakers and Spanish speakers. Our entire group occupied the hotel and we all had a great time. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were attentive and helpful. The history of this hotel is something to read about. The bus ride to this isolated location is well worth it.. I can't wait to return!.
