We stayed for a week and had a flat on the ground with a view of the full sea. Although the location was good, the flat was quite quiet, you could not hear anyone or anything. All the bars and restaurants are only 100 meters away from the castle and port entrance. On the top floor, there is a washing machine that guests can use in the afternoon. The owner was friendly but really useful. The only drawback was that they did not offer additional beach towels. Our cost was 90 euros per night. If we went using the rates, we would come back. We were staying for a short week in a flat on the floor with a view of the entire ocean. The venue appears brand new after being repainted repeatedly and looking modern. The ac and kitchen were fully set up as was the refrigerator. The towels and bedding were excellent. Despite having a prime position, the flat was peaceful, and you could not hear anyone or anything. The alley and harbour entrance are only a distance of 100 m from all bars and restaurants. In the afternoon, guests can utilize a washing machine on the top level. The owner was friendly and attentive. Their lack of additional beach towels was the only negative side.

I have visited Tarif, the place that I stayed at here, and my husband and children, who are 8 and older, decided to return and stay by air at Puerta la Mar. The location of the apartment, which is also opposite the castle, is excellent as is the port and beach. The apartment itself is very close to the town and beach. Because of the noisy noise levels, many bins were dragged down the road, and it was so noisy when it was in an adjacent restaurant or main street, he can hear people moving and talking until the very early hours. There was some noise from the apartments without air conditioning and only one fan, so we had a very uncomfortable night. Because it was the only night we stayed with the guest, the host, Mrs. Laura, was unable to bring us another fan. We had to clean the bathroom because it is very clogged and water does not drain very quickly. The pull out daybed is not quite cozy, therefore 2 I single beds would be more comfortable for visitors due to their attention to the detail.

We reserved the blamed studio apartment in Puerta La Mar for one night before traveling by ferry to Tangiers. We added another night the minute we entered. The apartment is bright, spacious, and contemporary, and it has wonderful details. Full kitchen, windows facing south and across the port to the sea. Laura went above and beyond to be an outstanding host, and Isabel's service went above and beyond. There is no elevator, and Laura went above and beyond to be a top-notch host. Whatsapp is a quick method to communicate with Laura. Perfect location, situated on a slanted old town walking street just across from the port. The parking area near the port was quick and secured. I liked the price. It was authentic and a local. At La Pescaria, on the same lane as the hotel, it was an outstanding seafood dinner. Get the tuna! Outdoor vibe because you can walk along the path to the old castle with the Mediterranean on one side and the Atlantic on the other. Great long beaches on the great kitesurfing and windsurfing areas in the atlantic. While you can see tariff in a couple of hours, we just felt connected there and enjoyed the vibe, and we really enjoyed having it every day and night.

Everything about Puerta La Mar is superb, our room was a mini apartment with kitchen facilities, sitting area is very clean and well decorated and with a beautiful view overlooking the port. Ideal location for visiting the many bars and restaurants in the old quarter. I just wish I could have stayed longer, I will definitely come back. I give it a 5 star rating.

The staff at this hotel guide us how to find the place that we like the best and really surprised us, and the hotel itself is very worth the price.
