I spent one night in the north and it was fine overall. The check-in process was simple and simple, with comfortable beds and a cafe on the ground for coffee, breakfast, and other things. There is no spa or gym. There is not much nearby except for supermarkets half a mile away and 25 minutes to the train station.

A very pleasant stay. After a very stressful day, I was given a very high standard of service from the staff at the san milan hotel.

After our Camino Tour, we remained here. We had no transportation and took taxis everywhere, so perhaps in the city itself we would have been better off. There are four of us, and they couldnt fit us in one room, so they put three in one and myself in the other. Although my bedroom had two beds, my wife went in with me, and our adolescent children had one to themselves just down the corridor, which actually served well for their development. They had excellent views of the mountains, we had the back but could see the local church. While there isnt much to do nearby, the city is only ten minutes away. Had a fantastic time in the heart of Beloon, then took the ferry next to it to the Playa de el, which was the highlight of our time in Spain. Breakfast was excellent, plentiful, and inexpensive, and the staff was really welcoming. We also had dinner there, which wasnt available on weekends, chessboard was excellent, but the pasta wasnt as good. The pool was significantly smaller than the photos showed, but we had fun using it, we had to wear a swimming cap, and Id also have goggles. Overall, Id stay in the city itself the next time, but the staff was truly welcoming.
