We did not stay in San Juan de Omega while strolling the Camino de Santiago because we had read about other travelers who had allergies there and weren't sure how far it was off the main road. But they came to get us. We arrived late in the afternoon and had a shower in the nottoocleanlooking shower stall before spending the rest of our time in the bar and restaurant area. We were given a pleasant pilgrim dinner with wine at dinnertime, slept in peace, and awoke to a nice breakfast included in the cost. It was really nice to not have to go outside and find our food before looking in the alley to our beds. We assumed this was the equivalent of a truck stop motel in the u.s. Functional and what we needed on the camino.

I would not return. I spent one night in the camino here. On the plus side, the hotel arranged for us to be picked up from San Juan de Omega, which is on the camino, at around 5 a.m. The motel, sadly, felt dissatisfactory. It has pretty much no charm. It is located on the main road connecting Logrono to Burros, and there is nowhere to go to get around. The rooms are big but monotonous. The room's cleanliness is acceptable, but the corridors are disgracefully ignored and unclean. The hotel appears to have slipped from 3 to 2 stars in time. Wifi only worked in the lobby and restaurant, not in the room. However, there is something to be thankful about the service. If you want a tasty meal, the restaurant is not the spot to go.

The rooms are comfortable but dated. The shower looks like it could use some cleaning. Overall the staff is helpful except for dinner when the food is practically thrown on the table. Will not return to this place.

The hotel is off the quamino, yet the hotel is clean and comfortable. Then, the host will come and pick you up from San Juan de Omega and drop you off again in the morning if you don't want to leave too early. Plus, the restaurant on the site is good and includes breakfast.
