All the staff were extremely helpful. The reception staff went out of their way to assist us when our luggage had gone missing at the airport. Everywhere was very clean, the lady who cleaned our room was friendly and always did an excellant job. The breakfast was good quality with a wide variety of choice to suit everyone. The Eliott Hotel is an excellent property, I have stayed there over ten times in 2026. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The only problem connected with my stay was I booked it on hotels.com. I have been a regular user of their website for booking for years, but will no longer use it, except to use up the dollars I earned from previous stays. When hotels.com does not have access, or rooms available at a particular hotel on the date specified by the user, hotels.com moves the user to a date in the future when their website has availability, even if it is days or weeks in the future. There is no specific message that hotels.com is changing your specifically desired date. I have suffered 2 times where a rez date was changed by hotels.com and paid for by me and they refused to fix it by issuing a refund. The worst part was the hotels.com on-line help chat, even when manned by a so-called "live agent." At the other end of the chat box might even be a real person, because each claims a unique name (most of which were not very familiar sounding). For one of these reservations where hotels.com independently decided to change my requested date of stay, I was connected to six different parties on the other end, each with a different name. I asked to be connected with a supervisor and was told one would call me within an hour, AND TO STAY OFF MY PHONE UNTIL HE CALLED. NOT TOTALLY UNEXPECTED, HOTELS.COM NEVER CALLED ME. Two hours of my life and a few hundred dollars lost!

Very nice hotel with no major issues. Staff was extremely helpful and responsive. Breakfast area on 8th floor was beautiful with great views, and included service of coffee, lattes, etc. We had New Year's Eve dinner there (also on the 8th floor) which was also excellent.

The property is very well located, in the center proper, not more than a few hundred meters from the high street, yet the spot is quiet. The rooms are clean, well maintained, the air-con is working, the breakfasts served are very good with decent choice of food to cater to all reasonable requirements, and the staff is professional, helpful and friendly.
