The helpful staff combined with a fantastic view of the strait of Gibraltar is a favourite place of ours. This time we used the pool which is excellent.

We enjoyed staying in this historic hotel. Very British, after traveling around in Spain for two weeks, it was quite different to come to Great Britain. We enjoyed to sit at the terrace in the evening. The view was great. The breakfast was good and the pool area so nice. The bed very comfortable. Contrary what we expected it was easy to drive to the hotel and the free parking at the hotel was excellent.

Lovely hotel, staff are very nice. The view of the hotel is excellent, enjoy the sunset everyday. 20 minutes walk to the main street, 35 minutes walk to the airport.

Was first time at hotel and totally blown away by it all .The views were amazing from terrace bar especially the sunsets .Our room was great with huge balcony.Staff were fantastic especially the waitress Tamara she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect .We are waiting to check dates and book again.

This was my second visit to this gem in Gibraltar. We stayed for 3 night over Easter, staying in a room with a terrace and views over the bay. I love the appearance of the hotel, the warm welcome, the location overlooking the Botanical Gardens, the swimming pool and the excellent food. The restaurant offered a wide choice of breakfast items, and a reasonably broad dinner menu. Unlike the last time I was here in 2014, the room safe was free to use - a big step forward. On arrival we noticed that the floor of our room felt gritty underfoot. Although we asked housekeeping to vacuum the floor the next time they were in, this didn’t happen. In every other way the housekeeping was good: replacing the towels, making the bed, etc. But the floor still felt like it needed a good vacuuming / mopping. Overall, I still love this hotel and plan to return in the near future.

The Room was very good with great balcony and superb Views . Check in was very pleasant. We had Dinner at the Bar, and the food was excellent 👌. Again the Night-time Views were Superb looking out over the Bay.. Would love to return .

This was a wonderful historical hotel, which is walking distance to the main shopping area. It is a special destination for those looking for a unique experience while visiting Gibraltar. I do have to forewarn you, Gibraltar is undergoing major construction throughout and the cable car remains under repair making the visit at this time someone less comfortable.

Great hotel, rooms very clean, had fabulous sea view watching the ships moving in and out of the harbour, recommend junior suite for accommodation as very spacious, lovely communal areas - bar, verandah etc all with great views. Hotel ideally located, short walk to town, nature reserve, gardens and the rock! .

The staff are all wonderful: welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The facilities at the hotel are great, including the pool area, which is quiet and relaxed with plenty of loungers. The hotel has easy transport links and has great views of the bay. Definitely recommended!

We had a great stay at The Rock Hotel. The parking was easy and the staff were really helpful, allowing us to leave the car for the day after we checked out so we could go and explore The Rock. The room was clean and tidy and the balcony was a lovely nature. The room was bit warm due to the aircon system not being switched on, which meant we had to leave our windows open, causing brightness and noise in the room. If I could improve one thing it would be to allow air conditioning all year round. Other than that, we had a brilliant stay here and would definitely return!
