We had a great week here and were most impressed by the beautiful comfy large rooms, the stunning garden and courtyards, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Valentina, Serena and Miriam are exceptional. Within a few days, we felt at home and very well taken care of. The advice on local restaurants and services was accurate, particularly about the great restaurant, la villa, 5 minutes walk up the road. Nothing was too much trouble. Really recommend it.

In October of this year, we stayed at Casa Vijo for a week. The personnel, including Valentina, Sagan, and Marin, provided warm, competent service from start to finish. The restaurant was wellliked by locals and the food was excellent. It was a little difficult to come to terms with the proprietors seeming to have split the hotel and restaurant operations. The rooms are unusual, tastefully furnished, and center around an outdoor courtyard. While a refrigerator is provided, a kettle or coffee maker would be a reasonable addition to the roomy suites large sitting area. None of this diminished our enjoyment. If you want more than a tranquil, remote vacation, wed advise car rental. Because we use cars all the time, we were pleased that the hotel offered us the chance to completely turn off.

There are no ants near the villa, which is a big bonus, and the beds are comfy. For us, there is no wifi in the villa. My family yelled at no wifi. But who needs wifi when you have such a lovely little resort to enjoy? In my book, the restaurant receives a 5 out of 5. Beautiful cuisine! Definitely not aimed at vegetarians! A real meat restaurant, but as a family we had 3 courses and thoroughly enjoyed the meals. The restaurant has calm and is very Spanish, so I highly recommend eating there. In March, I am currently fighting with my family. Please provide wifi in the villa. Additionally, the staff is superb. I appreciate the wonderful cleaners too. We've been in villas in Fuerteventura for at least 5 years, and this has to be by far the greatest. It was the cleanest, most gorgeous villa, and I couldn't find anything wrong.
