The hotel was AMAZING and the service was great, the only thing that wasn’t comfortable is the pillows I hope they change them other the that everything was great and peaceful in this hotel highly recommended!!!

A great resort in the wilderness. Very limited number of separated villas give the feeling of being the only customer in this resort. Great and friendly staff at all times. Delicious food at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Wow, this is a magical paradise! By far the best resort and service I’ve ever seen. It’s very exclusive since there are only 9 villas in 7 acres of lush greenery and mountains. The staff provided such personalized service that you feel like royalty. The views are breathtaking. Simply amazing!

Wonderfully secluded boutique hotel in the jungle. The villas are beautiful, and the pool overlooks the mountains and the jungle. It’s highly recommended for a retreat from the busy mountain roads of Kandy region. The staff is wonderful : professional and welcoming with maybe one small issue to improve regarding very limited English proficiency of most staff, except for very good manager, which can make communication and questions difficult.

Overall, if you enjoy nature and some quiet, it's a great experience. The cuisine was excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly and responsive, particularly the indu and mammals. The rooms were wonderful and well-kept. My wife had only positive things to say when she visited the spa. Despite the fact that they had no in-house naturalist, the housekeeping manager helped me locate some suitable birding spots on the property, so thanks once more.

Aruna was our favorite place overall. Thank you! We stayed for five allinclusive nights, and everything about this location was great, from reservation to checkout. The employees here made us feel welcomed and cared for during our stay. Be sure to reserve the sky tent villa for stunning views and your own infinity pool. You will never want to leave your room! The food and drinks were fantastic and definitely worth it if youre a big eater and drinker as each set of meals is multicourse. Fresh fruit juice was provided, and our refrigerator was always replenished. The spa was equally fantastic, and we truly enjoyed our stay here. The staff came to pick us up from our rooms during checkout to catch the early train, arranged transportation, and even bagged breakfast for us with additional drinks for the road. It is important to keep in mind that this location is up a hill 40 minutes north of handy, and large vehicles cant traverse the narrow roads. However, small cars can fit, and the resort staff will pick you up and drive you to the resort. Additionally, there are insects. If you have an outdoor restroom and shower in the middle of the mountains, that should be expected. It didnt bother us much because it was fairly modest, but if you dont like it, Id suggest a different place to stay. Cleaning can be reached on-site, and they are typically quick in responding

The location is in the middle of a forest with a great view, so we decided to go for a two night sky tucked private plunge pool. The view here is beautiful and the place is really interesting. The staff is very kind and helpful, they serve food with good food and are happy to provide free room service for breakfast and dinner.

This is an incredible location, with wonderful and caring staff, unforgettable views, unmatched peace, and wonderful cuisine and service. Yes, we had a great time! You enter the resort from a back road, surrounded by tea plants and nature, and you know it is special. Then came the welcome and first view of our sky-tented villa, with a very private infinity plunge pool and outdoor bathtub looking out onto the knuckles mountains. We were so enjoyed by the staff, including Makes, Nestor, and Alec, and we had much opportunity to discuss life in sri lanka at the time, and we are so glad we went. We felt very safe and cared for our entire trip, and everyone we encountered was so nice and happy we were there. The food was delicious and helped us explore a variety of unique sri lankan dishes. They even made a special anniversary dinner and cake for us, which we shared with many of the staff. The spa treatments were excellent as well, and housekeeping was excellent. There's nothing but praise for Aruna Nature Resort, it's a place that's easy to love but difficult to leave, and we will never forget our experiences there. Thank you to the entire crew for making our vacation so memorable!.

Make sure to reserve a sky tented apartment with plunge pool and outside bath with the most breathtaking view of the valley below and the Knuckle Mountains. The infinity plunge pool has the same breathtaking view. See photo, we never wanted to leave our room and hardly ever did as the wonderful and willing staff served all our meals on our terrace, which shares the view. Serene and so very comfortable this place is stunning, the food is great and the staff is outstanding. Go as soon as you can, Sri Lanka needs you.
