Had an amazing time ! Our trip had a very rocky start but the couple who owns the place were soo homely and treated us like their own daughters. We had an extremely good time, and we would love to stay with them again any time we ever visit ! Definitely recommend and will make your trip to Sri Lanka 1000x better.

I strongly suggest this place for lodging, especially in Sara Liza's surroundings. My husband and I stayed at the Andrews Hostel for two nights. The place itself looks very nice and cozy, and we also had a kitchenette to prepare tea and coffee. Tasha graciously welcomed us and gave us lots of helpful advice, and her father took us around the city to see all the places.

A place you really need when away from home. Shaman and tasha are very friendly, free-spoken hosts. With their exceptional English communication skills, we gained a lot of knowledge about the country and neighborhood. The house is very clean and cozy, has a lovely garden, and is located in a quiet area without any hustle and bustle, just a 10-minute refreshing walk from the town. Tasha served us a variety of nutritious srilankan supper that I have to say is incredible. The following day at 5.30 in the morning, the shaman drove us to Hortons Plains National Park and without a doubt drove us to Unawatuna, no matter how tired he was. We will definitely return here before my vacation in Srilanka.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay. Andrews Lodge is a very comfortable, old style structure with a living area and a large garden. Guests who visit here are amiable and say praisingly all the places I've visited. There are a variety of small birds and other insects that can be enjoyed in a peaceful and peaceful setting during the golden hour.

My partner and I stayed 4 nights at Andrews Lodge, originally planing on only staying 2 nights. I had some problems with booking online, we called the lodge just an hour before arrival and were accommodated. Today the owner drove us to our next destination today for a reasonable rate.

Very lovely garden, comfortable room, nice people, very affordable. Excellent location, walking distance to the city center and store and lookout. Shaman and Tahir are outstanding hosts!!Loved my stay!.

Location is actually called Andrews Lodge. No signs leading to the location, so be sure to have a map or directions for your driver from the train station. Peaceful and more quiet location away from city center, but only a short 10-15 minute downhill walk into town. It is much colder in Nuwara Eliya, bring a jacket! Accomodation was basic and good value for backpackers considering how expensive the town of Nuwara Eliya can be. Shower was hot, tea kettle and cups provided in the limited kitchen. Not much food directly nearby, closest 5 minute option is Restaurant Guru, located at the King Fern Lodge, down the hill. The listing says $2 breakfast option available, but this is not correct. The bare bulbs in the rooms gave me a headache and the towels were stinky, old, and stale. The bedding could also use an update. I think this place could use a big update in the decor considering all of the young backpackers passing through.. Owner was nice and offered us transportation to Horton Planes for a fee, but we decided it was not worth it due to all the hefty entrance fees including a driver entrance fee. Overall I would recommend this place for a short one night stay if your on a budget.

This place was so clean and we felt comfortable. The location was a bit inconvenient but they could prepare us local food for dinner and it was nice. The hot water wasn't hot enough but maybe because it was such a cold season. We left something behind but they kindly offered to send it to my family in Sri Lanka. For this price, it was satisfying.

The owners were really nice and even drove us to the bus stop when we checked out. The only and biggest problem was that there was no power. I know that’s not their fault but can’t really have a good experience without any power. No lights, can’t charge anything, no hot water so no shower, no Wi-Fi, etc. we originally booked for two nights but left early after the first night since we didn’t want to stay another day/night without power.
