This was a fantastic place to unwind. A vast array of activities in the surrounding nature or a SriLankan cooking lesson which we found was amazingly interesting and tasty!!! A truly luxurious boutique hotel with wonderful staff. The roads in are interesting and we were glad of the SUV we had hired. Over 4 hour drive from Colombo which was indeed stunning. We loved this place.

The whole place is wonderful. I spend two nights at this magnificent bungalow, which is situated on a hilltop overlooking Castlereigh reservoir. A lovely panoramic view of the mountains from the living area is enticing and truly makes one appreciate the beauty of the world we live in. Just taking in these stunning views and the fresh, crisp air that the countryside has to offer, you could spend hours sitting on comfy chairs. Both the food and the view were excellent in the bungalow. Every meal, including the evening tea, was prepared by the chef himself. All of the meals, including the danish pastries and croissants prepared by the chef herself, to the sorbet and main meals, were excellent. A starter of your choice and a dessert were included with each meal. The food was cooked on time, at the time requested by each visitor. The highlight of this trip was sitting at a table and enjoying such exquisite treats and a breathtaking view. This was a truly exceptional experience. The rooms, with a toilet, are roomy and immaculate. It was very tidy. Every day, room cleaning services were provided. The staff, especially my. Raj, goes above and beyond to make it feel at home. In fact, in his introduction, my. Raj made a point to tell all of the guests that they should at least spend a night or two there. It is undoubtedly a great deal

At Camellia Hills, we had a great two-night billboard stay. Raj went above and above to fulfill all of our needs, and he surprised us with a delicious and tasty anniversary cake. This property has the best view of Castlereagh reservoir, with a beautifully maintained garden with sun loungers where we could just relax and listen to nature. Would definitely come back.

Our two teenage daughters, aged 19 and 17, and I recently returned from an incredible vacation in Sri Lanka. They were unaffected by their current financial difficulties, and we were treated like kings wherever we went. The Sri Lankan people's friendliness and kindness were inspiring. They are so pious when tourists visit their beautiful country. Patton's Camellia Hills was unbelievably amazing. A little slice of remote paradise. It feels quite cozy because it is only modest and has six bedrooms. When you arrive, it is filled with breathtaking valley views that will completely steal your breath away. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and were very hospitable to give us a friendly greeting. It has a fantastic infinity pool with a panorama. We went on tours of the tea plantations and were shown the gardens, where they pride themselves in raising a lot of their own vegetables. The chef was eager to change the menu to meet our odd requests, and the food was wonderful! They are very concerned about the environment. The camellia Hills are highly recommended by us.

My husband and I were on a trip to Camellia Hills in October 2022. There, we stayed one night. To be honest, this was our most pleasant stay in the Rizal Highlands Highlands region so far. We selected a lake view bedroom named leigh bedroom, which was a bungalow with five rooms. It was just right. The room's view was breathtaking. This bungalow has the most stunning views and appears to be 10 times better than the images. The bungalow manager, my. Krishantha, was a kind and caring neighborly person. The cuisine was excellent. It was difficult to believe that this little bungalow offered a variety of food options, including seafood. If you're in the hill country, choose Camellia Hills because you'll experience a memorable and satisfying stay.

The trip from combo to Camellia Hills can be a bit scary, especially if you accidentally go the wrong way because the access road on one side is in a terrible state of disrepair. However, once you enter this tiny corner of heaven and witness the breathtaking views, the cozy lodging, the incredible collection of books, the amazing hospitality, and the delectable mouthwatering cuisine they serve, you realise that the hard trek is worth it. The Camellia Hills crew includes mila, raj, saving, sympathy, sauna, camera, chef lakshantha and ram, who make up a fantastic team and are treated like royalty, making sure you are looked after and pampered. Saving is a rare gem, he was known for having you caught on to fascinating stories on any topic. Every member of the camellia hills staff exceeded our expectations, was very warm, caring, helpful, and kind. It deserves special mention also to Nurangi and Rohan, who were incredibly helpful in coordinating the trip. You must have a breathtaking view from Camellia Hills at least once in your life. If you enjoy reading, you will undoubtedly find at least a few books in the extensive collection lodged in the bungalow that you can snuggle up to read. Our trip was fantastic, so many thanks for the excellent service.
