This is a really beautiful Art Deco Hotel which was faultless in its presentation. Our room and bathroom were huge, clean and beautifully decorated. The swimming pool is also lovely. The staff were wonderful - always friendly and helpful. We have stayed in many hotels on our travels over the last four months and this was the first to surpass our expectations in practically every way. One of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in - highly recommended.

Great location right in the middle of the fort nice rooms, nice hot showers - enjoyed the pool - staff were very helpful even had umbrellas for us to use.

This is the second time we stayed at Deco on 44. It is a lovely hotel in the center of Galle Fort. The rooms are large and either face the pool or have an attached large balcony. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is good!

Great hotel right in the middle of Fort Galle, funky architecture, excellent breakfast. Pool was nice for those hot afternoons. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

Great one night stay in Galle Fort. Junior suite room very spacious and comfortable. Great little pool to allow you to cool down at the end of the day . Great breakfast and the staff even made a juice from the wood apples we bought locally. Lovely Deco hotel ideally located for wandering around the fort area, restaurants shops, museums, etc.

This is a fabulous small hotel in the middle of Galle Fort in an art-deco stytle building. The rooms are comfortable and well-kept and the wifi is useable. The beds are very confortable and there is good water pressure in the shower. There are DVD players in all rooms, and there is a library of around 200 DVDs, including lots that you might actually want to watch! Breakfast is very good, and the all-day restaurant menu has lots of choice. The only slight negative is the tinny musac that seems to be played in the restaurant area most of the day, but happily its not audible anywhere else.

Located in the center of the Fort and walking distance to all viewpoints we visited. This boutique hotel was converted from a big house, getting us a glance of the history of the city. Our room (it's called Sun) is large, with a lovely balcony, big windows and enough sunshine. And I also like the golden wall in our room, it feels like staying in the history. Our friends stayed in room Moon and it was a nice room too. Rooms are in better conditions than many larger/famous/modern hotels in Sri Lanka.

The hotel is situated on the main tourist junction in lighthouse street just off pedlar street. It has a small garden where you can have your meals in the open. The great thing is that you can talk to the chef personally to customise your dishes. They also have a swimming pool which is perfect for unwinding after a walk in the hot Galle fort

Very nice room and a perfect location. A good place to enjoy the fort. The pool is a little small but I think you don't need it in Galle.
