Stylish, peaceful and perfectly located for exploring the south coast. We think Ahangama is the best town for a mix of relaxation and great dining options. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the breakfasts were a real highlight. A lovely boutique stay... would happily return.

A lovely place to spend a couple of nights - my room was amazing and the bath with a view of the ocean was really special. Lovely clean pool area, great food (very reasonable price) and really good service. The beach is nice and you can walk along it to other beach bars if you want. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I would strongly recommend the sushi! Living in Ahangama, I was delighted when fashionable harding first opened its doors. Their breakfast is excellent and is the only place you would dress up for in Ahangama. Ive never experienced French toast that comes close to harding, and their coffee is unquestionably the best in town. Sadly, since recently, they dont serve breakfast to visitors outside, but in the offseason, they might. My favorite place to view the sunset is on their rooftop bar, where I can enjoy delectable cocktails and supper.

This place has a very small property with 6 rooms, but it turns out that a new development in front and a construction site on the side completely spoil the view. Breakfast is also good in the small pool. A saddest thing is the internet images don't show the obstruction in front of the hotel. This place is very disappointing. I suggest looking for another place to eat in the courtyard, but you can always find another one that is better than it is in the picture.

Another great meal in this wonderful location. We were taken care of by a caring but not pushy staff and the food was delicious as always. We are anticipating the roof bar opening soon which we caught a peek at and can't wait to see! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

I am very disappointed with this hotel. On a self-drive trip I chose Harding boutique because as a female traveler I was looking for something quiet and still had modern qualities, along with being close to the beach and giving the impression that you were still in sri lanka. I arranged my airport transfer with the hotel, which was very straightforward as I was able to add it to the end of my reservation. You could have chosen from two different car options, one being a prus and the other a mercedes van, the price varies depending on which car you went for. When we got to the entrance hall, we began the 2. 5 hour drive to the hotel. I was welcomed at the front desk with a coconut and a cool towel. Once the check in was finished I was directed to my room, which was 202 garden facing. I arrived at night so was unable to see the view. The view was mostly at the hotel entrance, not a garden view because the hotel is located on a main road and you can hear all passing traffic and the school bell of the school directly opposite. The bathroom is decorated with a modern but rustic theme. Bathrobes, towels, and toiletries are provided. A great feature of the room was the sliding open window in the bathroom, but be careful as people may see you openly as there is no fence around the pool.

We work as nurses on the frontlines, and I truly believe we only deserve the finest when booking our hotel for I and, er, I had a truly wonderful and wonderful day at harding boutique hotels. Different from all the other hospitality service weve ever had, staff and service stand out as well. Everyone was extremely courteous and pleasant. Theyd constantly check on us and made sure we were comfortable and at ease. Suite suite we remained in penthouse ocean suite room 301 for days, and we didn't need to leave often since we had the finest view of the building and simply enjoying the breeze of the ocean breeze makes you feel at ease. The space is amazing! There are no words to describe how gorgeous it is! From the coffee maker to the minibar, the room's amenities are also fantastic. At the initial site, I fell in love with the structure. It is a work of art! The structure is exquisite and elegant. Every detail was carefully thought out and the layout is so cohesive. We have tried almost every meal and beverage available on their menu, and all of the food and drink we ordered just screams in enormous proportions of flavor and freshness. The food portion is not an issue because it is large and will easily fill you up. Their rice and curry is a mystery, I ended up ordering it two days in a row, and their version of French toast is something to travel for

Rooms are small but well appointed, design is nice, however, property size is too small, garden, pool, view - all cramped. Claims on website oversell the property. Ww have staid at many nicer boutique hotels in Sri Lanka.
