A very peaceful and relaxing place to spend some time on a tour around the southwest of sri lanka. Dinner was tasty and served very professionally and gin and tonic on the lawn as an aperitif went well. Coriander and ginger tea as a welcome drink made a very tasty change along with a cool towel. The staff was very friendly and happy to chat, asking where else id visited and what would I do next. Definitely recommend it for a couple of nights in sri lanka.

I had an excellent stay here. The place was clean, the buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner were amazing! But the biggest thing was the staff were all so helpful and friendly - the best hotel staff I’ve encountered Even my mother who usually complains about everything said she wanted to come back and stay there.

This was the most professional stay of my trip. The buffet breakfast and dinner was ample and tasty enough. The bed needed an extra sheet, but they happily obliged. The setting is beautiful—rice patties, a pond, and many interesting fauna. I would have liked a bit of help with touring the local area as they were not as equipped to arrange and book things as I would have liked (perhaps it was a timing/English issue); otherwise, great place to stay—relaxing, organized, and clean.

Very nice resort. They have comfy and spacious rooms and a beautiful and relaxing garden and pool area. The restaurant serves delicious food and has a nice view. The staff is very friendly. I would definitely come back if I got the chance.

We had a wonderful time during our nightcap at the Withal Resort for my wife's birthday. We want to express our gratitude to the resort for arranging a lovely candlelight dinner and beautiful room decor. The staff, including udayangani, parapara, chandra, and isan, made us feel at home and at ease. While the food selection could be enhanced, the breathtaking view from our room was worth it. I heartily recommend it for a peaceful retreat. Overall, our nightcap at Withal resort was excellent, and we heartily suggest it to anyone looking for a romantic and serene getaway. Thank you once more to the staff for their kindness and for making our stay so memorable.

The room was very comfortable, with a beautifully decorated bed and relaxing view. The swimming pool was clean and of a good size. Minibar in the room for a reasonable price. Evening meal buffet was a bit cold but I think it was a quiet evening for the hotel so nit the usual throughput.

This hotel features a lovely boutiquestyle, where employees attend to your every need. We stayed for two nights and were booked for halfboard, which included a breakfast and supper buffet. There is a wide range at the buffet, but if you want to order a set menu or an a la carte menu, the employees will go above and beyond to accommodate that. When my husband and I arrived, the bed was stunningly decorated. A fruit basket was also left to us. The rooms are tidy and cozy. We had a balcony overlooking the paddy fields, which was more stunning. There is a tiny pond adjacent to the field, which is where a heron frequently in the evenings. Simply amazing! highly recommend this gorgeous hotel and the fantastic staff. The reception staff speaks English fluently, which was particularly helpful. It caused some issues because we had never encountered that in other hotels before. Although we cannot speak inhale. Therefore, no judgment!.

Wonderful friendly service and comfortable rooms. A la carte menu was good but the buffet was not quite so. Loved having a beautiful flower given to us each evening and asking if everything was ok.

A really pleasant and comfortable stay here during our time in the hotel. We didn't spend too much time at the hotel as we were out for a full day in safari and left the next morning but we were pleasantly surprised at the lovely surroundings of the hotel and room. The staff were polite and super accommodating. They kindly provided us with a packed breakfast on our safari early morning. Only con was, considering its a peaceful and calm location, we couldn't make use of the pool as it was overcrowded with local guests and their kids.

Hotellet var helt OK, fint bassengområdet. Maten kunne vært bedre. Men ellers greit til en natt etter/før safari.
