What a wonderful week with my family. Sunil in the front of the house looked after us like silkworms. Very laid back. Excellent food. attentive staff. Quiet and across from the surf. The fish banquet and fireworks for New Year's Eve were highlights. And the yoga in the morning and at night is excellent!.

The beach here is so beautiful. The place is located in a wild area. The staff was kind and helpful.

I came to Lion's Rest for lunch with some friends. The staff was very friendly and cheerful. The menu was quite varied and had lots of choices but not overwhelming. We had the cheeses with tomatoes pesto, curried seafood pie, and a chicken burger. It was all very tasty and well presented. Good portion and reasonable prices. I will be back to try other items on the menu. Thank you!.

A great hotel and great location for a Sri Lanka Surf Trip. The waves are right on your doorstep, the room has a stunning view and the staff is very friendly. We stayed here for two weeks and surfed all the local spots, including coconuts right outside. Thank you to Mike, Sunil and all the staff at Lions Rest for making us feel at home.Until next time.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone at lions rest for making us the most amazing holiday. You won't be dissatisfied by this location because it is really unique. Over the christmas break, my family and I stayed here for ten nights. I am deeply grateful for your kind hospitality from Mikey, Sunil, and all of the team friends Prasad, Human, Kalahara, Ayes, and Radeesha. The rooms, the cuisine, including the delectable espresso martinis, the Christmas spread from the curry buffet, yoga, surf, and stunning sunsets, all excellent. My ten-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the time and spent time with other guests children. They had such a wonderful time together, watching their Christmas movies each evening and learning about christmas arts and crafts with helen. Sunil organized our excursion, and Mikey provided us with the best beaches recommendations, including several that included swimming, snorkeling, and eating at fantastic local restaurants. We had a fantastic time and are eager to return. Lions Rest Sri Lanka will always be close to our hearts. I'm so grateful, and I cannot wait to meet you all very soon.
