Lovely couple. Very friendly and always try to make you feel at home. The Wife doesn't speak much English, but that would be better with her personality. Very kind people. plentiful and delicious meals with local ingredients tea, papaya, etc. From the garden. They even prepared us lunch packs for our hour hike in the rainforest national park guide known by the owners, arranged a visit. Amazing experience. The rooms are modest but equipped with everything we needed. mosquito nets included. Amazing nature views. Very inexpensive! Always remember it.

The host is one of the friendliest people I have met in Sri Lanka. The tour he is arranging to Sinharaja Forest is also worth the money. The view is also breathtaking. There were some more backpackers staying at this place. Good community! Thank you for your hospitality!

The view from the deck area is the greatest part! My partner and I stayed here for two nights, which was an absolute treat. The owner was very friendly and helpful, going out of his way to answer any questions. Breakfast was generous and affordable. I met another couple and had dinner with curry and rice, and it was the biggest and best we had in a month in Sri Lanka. Rooms are clean, hot water is provided, and very cheap.

We had a great time here for two nights. Situated near Deniyaya Bus Station and is an excellent place to walk around Sinharaja Forest Reserve. Our host organized our trek for 2900 that included transportation to reserve, a guide, and lunch, which we enjoyed after swimming in a forest river beneath a waterfall! Pleasant room with a large balcony and dining area with a fantastic view over the forested valley to the hills beyond. Wildlife all around the hotel. The food is the best, don't forget to enjoy the whole and pumpkin curries!.

Beautiful couple. Very friendly and always trying to make you feel at home. The wife doesn't speak much English but that's all she can do for her personality. Very kind people. Delicious meals made with local ingredients, tea, papaya. From our own garden. They even prepared us packed lunches for our hours of walking through the rainforest national park guide known by the owners and arranged visit. Great experience. The rooms are modest but have everything we need. There are mosquito nets included. Beautiful views of nature. Very affordable! Memorize it always.
