I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for lodging away from the major tourist attractions. This house is in Blackpool, a small and peaceful village that is accessible by bus or tub from Naragella. The cottage is situated on a hill and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside from each of the bedrooms. The lodging is excellent value for the money and is ideal for backpackers. The owner, Robert, is friendly and welcoming. He was available to help us organize our transportation to the cottage from the time we arrived at the train station. He prepares breakfast each morning and is quite flexible. He organized our trip to Horon Plains and guided us to the meeting point in the morning. You may also choose to dine at the cottage in the evening by arrangement. We did this on our final night, and the food was the best we have had on our trip in 5 days! It was a really enjoyable stay overall. Bring a jumper for those traveling from the plains!.

I highly recommend this place. The location is away from town, there are no stores, a restaurant nearby, the town is in the middle of the fields, the price of a tub is 1500 rupees. There are lots of good things in this place. The Sri Lankan breakfast was good. I booked through application.
