All in all, a special spot to enjoy. A warm welcome in a tiny, subpar yellow bungalow. Sitting on two worn-out chairs in a dark, cramped entree gave us an uncomfortable reassuring semblance when we arrived, but once we took a peek inside the remainder of the house, which is incredibly colorful, filled with endless art items, and furnished with exquisite tastefully designed, enormous, roomy interiors. Excellent and competent service, a wide variety of eveningtime home-made cuisine and cocktails. it almost feels like a private home where one unwinds after supper in front of the fireplace while admiring the 99 enticing images and paintings that are crowing around the deep red painted walls. Brunch on the patio with extended views, including a billiard table and a large sitting room with two pools.

We had read that staying in an old bungalow was a fantastic accommodation choice in Narasimha. There are bungalows, but there's sinhagiri. The spacious bungalow has been completely renovated into a stunning cabinet of antiques villa. There are only 2 guestrooms in the area above the city. So, you will truly feel like a guest rather than a hotel customer. Only two guestrooms.. But a number of other rooms. From the swank lounge to the smoking room to the big great room where I could imagine the coolest great Gatsby party in the world! Each room has elegant and eclectic decor and premium luxury amenities. We were cooped up inside due to the rain, but it's such a wonderful location. Tea in the lounge, then you can retire in the great room next to the comfy fire or play a game of pool. Sinhagiri is truly a trip to Sri Lanka. We appreciate your amazing visit and hope to return soon!.

I'll be back in September. I was able to locate the place easily because it was conveniently located in the center of Nuwereliya. My four-course lunch was beautifully presented and tasted lovely. Sinhagiri is stunningly furnished, and my evening there after that was really enjoyable. The staff was also excellent.

The bungalow is situated on Hadron Hill, directly opposite the race course. It's not difficult to locate, as one of the gates opens directly onto the main road. From the outside, it is quite opulent. The lions outside the porch exude its moniker. We were, however, overwhelmed the moment we walked inside! One of those homes where decor is either adored or disliked by everyone, regardless of their origin! The enormous dining room's ceiling and sitting room ceiling are painted in fire engine red, and the hallways are painted in fire engine red. As we walked further inside, the decor grew a little more wild. Peony and parrot bedrooms were decorated with peonies and parrots on the walls, making this color more acceptable at night. The bathrooms are both fairly spacious and discreetly hidden away in the back of the rooms. It had a lovely doggy named Blackie, who is a great boy, who was a truly charming and excellent individual. The front-silent living space was a lovely room with pictures and floral art that seemed more contemporary. A breakfast spot outside on the porch, with horses soaring overhead, was wonderful. This is the place to be if you want to travel farther away. This gorgeous villa was built in the colonial style and was strategically located near the horse race and enjoyed spectacular views from the garden and terrace. Inside, there is a library, music room, and large salon with 2 billiard tables. The dining room is also spectacular. And this is only for 2 grand bed rooms. All rooms are beautifully decorated with artwork and hunting trophies. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious sri lanka cuisine, thoughtful service, and couldn't get enough of relaxing in front of the chimneys while always finding more unique items, like the original kimono collection. Don't miss this place.
