Beautiful hotel overlooking the lake. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Best breakfast we've ever had! The service was fantastic, VJ made us feel at home right away and couldn't do enough for us. Everything was perfect from start to finish.

Beautiful property with excellent view of Lake Gregory. Very well decorated boutique hotel with personalize service by the property manager (Mr Vijay) and his team. Knowing that we were leaving very early to hike at Horton plains, they packed sandwiches and fruits for us to bring along.

The hotel is located just a few minutes drive from the city... Peaceful stay with amazing view of Gregory Lake. Room is comfortable and staff are polite and helpful. Would definitely go back again

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einem wunderschönen Ambiente. Atemberaubende Aussicht auf den See und Nuwara Eliya selbst. Der Service war aufmerksam und liebevoll. Wir haben sogar ein Upgrade auf die nächste Zimmerkategorie bekommen. Uns wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt!

Where to begin! by far the best hotel we have stayed in sri lanka so far. The attic bedroom overlooked the lake. The bed, with donnas because it can get very hot in the hills, was super comfortable and the pillows were the best we had slept on. We ate out for dinner on our drivers' suggestion, who had a friend who owned a restaurant there. Breakfast was great and generous with fruits, juice, toast, pancakes, roti, cooked eggs anyway, etc. We could stroll around the lake and do before breakfast.

We had a fantastic time at the Tea Plant Hotel. The personnel was incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. The food was excellent. The cook made anything we wanted. And we had a wonderful time at this place. The view from the room is incredible. The manager, my wife, was incredibly helpful and made sure we had a great stay at their hotel. I intend to return shortly.

I really recommend this room type. It has great attic room with high ceiling. Balcony with lake views. Great bathroom with shower. Everything in the room looks freshly renovated or updated. Nice bed. Very friendly, professional and helpful staff, and the restaurant is amazing! Both breakfast and dinner are great! Bar not open during the pandemic but they serve beer and wine in the restaurant.

I don't think it would be what it was when we first arrived! It was absolutely beautiful! We felt at home, and my ve made sure we didn't feel anything but that! He was the friendliest and friendliest person I've ever met. He always made us feel at ease, checked us in, gave us tips, and prepared delicious local cuisine for us that was a delight. The rooms are clean and spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking the lake and tea fields. We were on a getaway and loved every minute of it! Clean towels, bathrobes, and slippers were provided. I personaly recommend it for couples seeking a retreat away from hectic city life! The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming! This place was a diamond, and we are really grateful we stayed there! thank you, my ve, and the team, for such a wonderful experience.

A lovely property with the best people! We were fortunate enough to have the entire property to ourselves. The property's surrounding gardens are beautifully maintained. My. Wijenayaka, the property manager, was the most humble and welcoming person ever! extremely helpful! The staff checked on us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed. exceptional service to the customer. The rooms were very comfy and large. The food was excellent too. The view of Gregory Lake was amazing! We smile at every minute of this location. Thank you so much. We'll be back soon.

We enjoyed our stay at Tea Plant, with a very spacious room offering a lovely view — thank you again for the upgrade. Dinner was also good and generous. However, the hotel really needs some refurbishment (leaks, worn furniture), and the staff could be a bit more professional

This was our first stop in Sri Lanka for one night only and after a nightmare journey with flight cancellations, the staff very kindly allowed us to check in at 5am, which we greatly appreciated. The phone number for the hotel was wrong on Expedia so we struggled to get in touch with them to let them know about our late arrival however our driver was able to contact them for us - so just make sure you’ve got the right contact details in case you need them! The hotel is lovely and we were sad not to have been able to enjoy it for longer!
