The location was ideal if you were planning on taking the train toella. The room was very nice with a lovely view of the tea fields. Everything about this place is worthwhile to mention, the host is very nice, nice, and helpful. We had dinner on the property and it was one of the best Sri Lankan dishes that we had during our entire trip, we asked for non-spicy food and it was!

Overall, a fantastic visit, with trips planned for us through the homestay to see nara eliza organized for us. Would recommend. I had a great time at the train view. We traveled as a group of 6 and the hosts were so friendly and welcoming they couldn't have done more for us. The food breakfast and dinner were amazing. They also provide English lessons for the local children, and if you're lucky enough to be there for an afternoon and speak English, they'll be happy to help. Overall, a fantastic stay, with trips planned for us through the housestay to see nara eliza.

Very good value for the money. Only a 5-minute walk to the train station. Beautiful view and location. The manager is very kind and listens to all our problems and advises us best.

We didn't have much of a budget for 9 nights, but we got to have the whole motel to ourselves. The proprietor was wonderful, assisting us with any questions and serving us a fantastic breakfast. Since Nana ya doesn't really attract any visitors, consider some local life as you encounter tea pickers walking to and from work outside the hotel. Please can the owner contact me or provide a response with a asks number, because I believe I got the incorrect number and tried to message him while we were in Sri Lanka. This is the ideal location to stay. In Naruta Eliza, there is essentially nothing to do there. The tiny guesthouse in Nana ya is excellent because it is close to the train station in a lovely, tranquil village. The bed is comfortable, the hosts are friendly and accommodating, and the cuisine is good. The views from the guesthouse are wonderful, and the bed is comfortable. In order to show us around some of the sights, such as waterfalls and tea plantations, they provided us with a great rate and a tub to take us around. In the afternoon, you should avoid taking a waterfall tea tour because they insist on taking the itinerary in reverse order. The waterfalls are best seen in the afternoon because they are hidden in dark holes and are difficult to see and hard to get any acceptable photographs of them. Additionally, you can swim in one of the waterfalls and hike up there. We werent warned in advance, and therefore did not arrive prepared. Take an additional day to explore the village and tea plantations in Nara ya. On our own, we just walked around and it was one of the best days of our trip. Absolutely stunning scenery, glimpses of daily village life, and very friendly individuals. Not at all a tourist place. A decent tiny tea station that you can end up walking at for a cheap lunch with beautiful tea filed views is close by.
