I highly recommend this place. The place is quiet and close to nature. The rooms are also nice and comfortable and the staff is friendly. There are very good dishes.

I spent one night there and was very pleased with the room and the wonderful dinner our hosts had cooked for us and the breakfast. The gardens are lovely and we all enjoyed playing the spotlight after dark. There are some props from the movies around, and the children put on the play with the help of our host, who is a movie art director.

The location is great. We stayed here for one night with my family. The room was quiet and well-kept in the middle of the jungle. I really suggest it if you want a quiet stay with no noise or disturbance.

This place is a truly unique experience in Dambulla because it is located in a natural forestlike garden with 3 cottages, wild monkeys and jungle fowl roaming freely, it is serene, rustic, and artful. The owner, Rohan, and his wife cooked us delicious homemade Sri Lankan dishes. The place is clean and you just feel at home. The location is close to most attractions in Dambulla, but far from the bustle of Dambulla city life. So ideal.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days while traveling the country. Although the accommodation is remote, I'm unsure how close it is to Dambulla's core, it's not at all far by Tutu. The grounds are clean and well-kept, with monkeys, bats, and wild fouls visible. The rooms are clean, the room we stayed in didn't have an air conditioner, but there was a fan, and the bathroom is attached to the room, but an outdoor-style bathroom. The shower is also a cold water shower, but I assure you, you won't mind because of the heat! There is a mosquito net around the bed, but if you put your own up, which we did, you will definitely need your repellent. Breakfast was delicious traditional sri lanka-style and lots of it. We also enjoyed dinners here that were also reasonably priced and again delicious home-cooked sri lanka food. The ownershosts were very friendly and welcoming and organised a tutu driver for us, whom we used throughout our visit, who was also very nice and reasonably priced. Overall, a really good place to stay as a base to see the sights from if youre after something a bit different.
