This place has a lot of history as well as a modest, beautiful place that is close to the water. Although it was raining, we were there to relax in the garden, but it is nonetheless charming inside. All things in Askersund are conveniently located in the ideal spot. Stjarnholm Palace is a short drive away, and on foot you can buy fresh eggs and other food items to bring home and enjoy. Situated close to the pond and garden, the Garvaregarden employees were excellent in retaining their antiquated elegance. We were only there during the summer and couldn't sit outside in the garden. The rooms are lovely, have modern toilets and showers, and have a lovely outdoor seating area for breakfast and an open plan. The employees are welcoming and attentive. We would like to thank the wonderful proprietors and staff at the Garvaregarden for a pleasant stay.

The location is great, close to several restaurants and pubs. And the room was charming and the service was fantastic. There is a lot of luggage space, and the private bathroom almost has its own annex.

I like this place, it's nice to have the rooms that are attractively decorated in the period style. The breakfast room is also nice, but it is quite small, but the condition is clean and well-appointed. Especially the owner is very personable. Next time I will come back to stay here. Lovely garden courtyard for afternoon tea or drinks. Steep and narrow stairs leading to the second floor, so if these are issues, go to the first floor.
