This hotel is in a fantastic location and set in a beautiful, historic villa, which adds to its' overall charm. Our first-floor room was quite spacious, though it overlooked an alley and was noisy early in the morning due to kitchen staff. The service was a highlight of our stay. The front desk staff, breakfast staff, housekeeping, and porters were all excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. While the property itself is lovely, the spa amenities were a bit disappointing, as they felt dated and could use some updating. Although we didn’t dine in the restaurant for a full meal, we did enjoy coffee and dessert in the bar, which was a wonderful experience. One of the best features is the hotel’s private boat dock, which made arrival by water taxi seamless and convenient. They also offer a complimentary boat to Murano, along with access to the original Murano glass factory (located right in Venice), where we were able to watch a master glassblower demonstration—such a unique experience. Breakfast was included and very good, with plenty of options. We especially appreciated that they prepared a to-go breakfast for us when we had to leave early at 6 a.m. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others, especially for its service, location, and unique amenities.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room with the beautiful views, the friendly staff at check in and the Vanessa in the dinning room was a delight. The hotel is right next to the cable car which is super convenient and fun to watch from your balcony. We got a voucher to have our breakfast at the top of the mountain which was amazing. looking forward to coming back and going paragliding again.

Wonderful breakfast buffet. Clean room and helpful staff. The thermostat for aircon was not functioning and thats probably because central aircon was not switched on yet at this time of the year.

Staff was so very helpful. We were able to check in early, they were very helpful with directions and suggestions on where to visit and eat. Hotel location was perfect. Very close to bye wanted to do and the train station.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely rate it 5 stars overall. The location is excellent and very convenient and close to great restaurants and transport options. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, with a very cozy bed that made it easy to relax after a long day. The only small side was some construction.

No sauna/spa included which was a little sad but they did provide the option I think at a nearby location. We stayed in a newly renovated room as they are updating. It was very nice, clean, sleek. Bathroom doors are dying out in hotels (not a complete seal for privacy but was good enough and shower was amazing). We didn't partake in breakfast but they did have a more affordable croissant and coffee option if you wanted something light. Thought it was a great location in Lucerne for train station and exploring.

Amazing reception, very polite and helpful! They gave us iron with ironing board and a kettle upon request! Would definitely recommend! Also, minutes of walking to the heart of Lucerne, no need to take bus or taxi, everything is close to hotel which is very convenient especially after a long day of exploring city life!

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ameron in Lucerne! The location is amazing, walking distance to nearly everything in the main part of Lucerne. Although the renovations were slightly inconvenient, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone!
