Overall, this is an address I would not hesitate to visit. The location is unusual from the outside, but what the hell! We were only looking for a place to be together en camille before christmas. When we walked down the snow, the hotel abruptly slip into the snow, and I was immediately taken away by the welcome's warmth and friendliness. Everyone gleaned and cheered was laid-back, modest, and welcoming. The bedrooms were large, with tapestries featuring a kind of retro medieval battening, giving off the impression that three suits could have slept three, and the mattresses were comfortable. There was a minibar there, but I skipped one because I didn't check to see whether there was one. There was a small balcony that made me wish I was still smoking and a small kitchen, if you wanted to prepare your own food, which I didn't. Although bone steak was also recommended for the discerning vegetarians and non-pork eaters, the eatery only offered one dish. The roast pork was excellent, and the johannisberger was also excellent.

Good hotel, great breakfast, spectacular mountain view. Just a little dated but stylish. I would say it's a great place for family with children and grandparents. But the young people might find it odd. It's very close to the bus station and thermal baths.

I liked this hotel, and as I return in summer to walk the gemmipass, I will be happy to stay here again because it is comparatively inexpensive. The Leukerbad sub bus station is around a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and a few of the thermal pools are around 2-minutes away. It does not have a spa, which I believe is due to it's much lower price than other places in the area, but youll receive a 10-entry discount card to the other locations and the hotel will give you a towel and a robe to use. In addition to the double bed, the room was much larger than I had anticipated. There was also a single bed, a small kitchen, a table and chairs, and a seating area, as well as a balcony with seating with views of the mountain. The room was lovely to have so much space. I'm not sure if this is the case for all of the rooms I wasn't anticipating, so it was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is run by a family, and I think the very welcoming nature of the employees made it apparent. The breakfast, which is included in the price, was surprisingly adequate. There is a restaurant that serves dinner, but you must let them know before you rp if you intend to eat there that evening. The establishment has a cozy

This was not our first stay and it is always a pleasure to stay at the astorga hotel. We were welcomed warmly. The hotel is ideally located and the breakfast buffet is excellent. There was nothing we didn't like.

We booked last minute for a weekend with my wife and kids in Leukerbad. This is the best hotel with 4 beds and Family Room. It's manageable for 1 or 2 nights, but it really needs a complete renovation. Everything is old and depressing, all furniture is outdated. I definitely won't make a reservation again.
