The only thing lacking is breakfast, everything feels so rushed, with the staff doing everything in their power to let you know that 10 am is the absolute closing time, and rushing you along every step of the way. Dont they realize that many of us are on vacation and dont want to start our day in a hurried or hostile manner?.

This is a review for their restaurant! My husband and i had the most amazing dinner here. You can have a spectacular fondue dinner in an old gondola at the back of the hotel. Andreas, the head chef, looked after us while we sat in a cozy little gondola overlooking the beautiful Swiss mountains. The food was amazing and the experience was unforgettable. Thank you to andreas for his care and attention to every detail. I highly, highly recommend this romantic experience!.

This review is only for the restaurant as we did not stay here. We had a wonderful evening dinner at this restaurant on one of our nights in wengen. Alfsaine went above and beyond to assist us in coordinating our reservation, and all the other staff members we encountered were very accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed our interactions and the food. We ordered quite a bit to try the Swiss food, and we really enjoyed ourselves. Veal sausage with onion sauce was amazing!.

The typical swiss family hotel. The entire team is helpful. My stay was fantastic, very spacious for a standard room, comfortable bed, bathroom and hot shower work very well, well equipped with amenities, towels, kettle, minibar, heater, etc. The view from my room is amazing. Thank you very much for your hospitality. Dont hesitate to book this hotel and spend a few days in wengen and explore around instead of staying in interlaken interlaken is more expensive and there isnt much to see. Best wishes for alpine wengen!.

The hotel boasts a prime location, offering breathtaking views of the snowcapped mountains upon opening the door. The breathtaking scenery is truly breathtaking. Its unfortunate that the front desk staff lack enthusiasm, especially considering that it took me two days to receive the two hangers.

The ski room is in dire need of an upgrade. The service was slow, unprofessional, and disorganized, lacking training and supervision. The breakfast was good, but the dinner was average at best with often long waits between courses. The room has been renovated but the furniture is old and worn. The view from the balcony of the room is amazing. The bar is cozy with good drinks. Great location in the middle of the village right next to the manlichen cable car.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The spa is a luxury bonus. We also ate at the restaurant a few times and were never disappointed! Delicious food. They even surprised me with a birthday treat. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting wengen.

The hotel and its staff are excellent. The rooms are very clean and decent, and the location and view are excellent. A special mention goes to paisley, who was very sweet and helpful, and gave me great advice.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of beautiful wengen. We had a balcony room which was well worth the extra money. Just sitting there looking out over the mountains with a nice glass of wine was very relaxing. The hotel staff were lovely and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and the bar was warm and comfortable. Would definitely visit again.

I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. I really enjoyed staying in this traditional chalet style hotel, clad in dark wood. My room was well maintained and kept very clean. The balcony was a great feature, with views of the jungfrau. The great location, close to the cable car and station, is its best feature. Although i enjoyed the breakfasts, i thought the evening meals were ordinary and service was sometimes very slow during peak evening hours.

The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel like youre at home. Our bartender is very generous and attentive. Great gin and tonics! After long hikes, the heated indoor pool, sauna, and steam room are a game changer. Five stars, by the way!.

The hotel Alpine had a 4-course seasonal menu dinner. This was a salad from a buffet salad bar with a reasonable selection of salad items available starter, main, and dessert for chf each as non-residents, the food was fine but definitely not to the level I had expected in this hotel. Over the course of dinner we had 5 or 6 servers and felt as though we were in a back room. Overall an average experience, not enhanced by excellent or consistent service.
