Excellent service, a beautiful old building and a great location. The room was clean and quiet, even on the lake view side, which is on a busy street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is a 25 minute walk along the beautiful lake path or a short bus ride from the center. Breakfast was fresh and very nice, especially the special poached egg dish. One suggestion I would make is better lighting in the rooms. There is a ceiling chandelier but bright, jarring bare bulb fixtures by each bed. Those need a lampshade or something more directional. There was also no lights near the bathroom mirrors so shaving and makeup, etc. are difficult. Also the bathroom had a window with only a sheer curtain so for privacy you have to pull down the exterior metal shade, which blocks natural light into the room. If the lighting conditions don’t bother you, this is a great place. Would stay again.

Beautiful property in a lovely location. Right across from the lake and a park, and just a short walk to city center. The staff was helpful and kind, it was clean and well-kept, and the extra touches were wonderful. We would certainly stay here again!

Staff welcome us, very friendly and explain parking down town was hard and explained how to use the bus lines. There is a stop for pick up and drop off by hotel. Very nice rooms and clean

The staff was warm and very helpful. They enhanced our stay at this charming hotel. The breakfast was wonderful, and the breakfast room was lovely. We had a gorgeous view of the mountains and the lake.
