The location is a bit far from the city center, but its still easily accessible because there is bus that takes you directly in front of it. And let me tell you this is the hotel to book! First they welcome you with bottled wine, beer, champagne. Then they serve the best food at dinner. We only intended to eat the 3 course meal on the first night and then explore other restaurants, however it was truly the finest food my wife and i have ever eaten. All four nights we ate there and each meal was 10/10. Also, the staff there are very friendly and accommodating. They made us feel like family. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone and anyone ive met who is going to be in grindelwald. If you regrettably already booked another place to stay, you should still come check out the threecourse dinners they have! Or at least grab booze on your patio to enjoy the scenery. Ah, already miss it so much.

Excellent hotel! Our room had breathtaking views of the Alps, was immaculate, had delicious food, and was greeted warmly by the staff. The 'bunny ski slopes were conveniently located just outside the hotel. Fantastic location! My wife and i traveled for our honeymoon, so we will definitely return in the future!.

The hotel is in a great location, the starting point for hiking up to First, ten minutes walk down to town and the surrounding mountains are beautiful! When traveling from the station to the hotel, we recommend taking cabs. If you have large luggage, it is impossible to cross the steep road! However, check the bus schedule in advance because when we arrived around noon, there were bus drivers in the middle of 1-2 lunch breaks. The breakfast is the best weve had on our trip, and it was fantastic. There were also nice bubbles, lots of tea options, hot chocolate, etc. Very helpful receptionist!.

Charming hotel with very polite and helpful staff who put a lot of effort into running the place. Its just as picturesque and high quality as youd expect for ie stayed in switzerland. Also, their dinner is delicious and, if asked, the staff can provide very good gluten and lactosefree options. If lactis are okay for you, try their fresh milk at breakfast! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning!.

The rooms were spotless and extremely cozy, and the staff was outstanding. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I heartily suggest this hotel to anyone visiting grindewald because you dont need to use your car everything is around you, as well as if you want to teach your kids skiing there are special people next to the hotel who are welltrained and eager to help you or your child. Monika, many thanks, but i will return the following year.

The most breathtaking views! You can see paragliders land outside your balcony, and the gondolas passing over our roof in this location, which is right in the middle of the bodmi arena. We would enjoy dinner and wine on the terrace at night while waiting for the sunsets changing hues on Eiger.

The food at das bodmi is excellent. The chef, bruzo, is very skilled and cooks delicious food. He is really cordial. I made a special request to prepare sausage. It was delicious and made my trip wonderful. We even took pictures together as if i were from india and had never eaten sausage before. Bruno prepared it perfectly. Bodmis arena is incredibly good. My entire stay was there. A salary increase is due to him.

We adore our stay. Everything is wellorganized. The man who worked at the food truck was really attentive to us while we were eating lunch on the terrace. Superb portions and hot food! May they continue to employ this workers structure for the following winter. In the center of the swiss Alps, there is genuine excellence.

I did not stay here as a hotel guest. However, the host graciously allowed us to come for breakfast because we were staying across the street in an airbnb. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel was clean with amazing views. Staff were very friendly. I would return as my hotel guests! Thank you for having us for brunch two mornings in i have stayed here twice!.

The eiger is a stunning location. The ski school and the slopes are just outside the hotel, making it ideal for beginners. Excellent food and service. I want to express my gratitude to the head chef, who took the time to explain how things work and took my reservation. His advice was extremely comforting to me. Many thanks!.

We are a family of five and eat incredibly delicious food prepared in the food truck by san joe, he has ten years of experience. The food was delicious and generously portioned. We will return because it made our day wonderful. Regards and continue to do fantastic work.

This charming chaletstyle hotel offers an amazing view of the eiger from our balcony. The staff members were friendly, the cuisine was excellent, and the beds were soft. Additionally, having a bus stop right next door made it simple to get into town.

In late february, we visited there, and the snow was a little scarce. Skiing and sledding could use some of the artificial snow.

In terms of room view, hospitality, service, efficiency and value for money, this hotel is by far the best of my experiences in the lucerne, zurich, and jungfrau region. The hotel has a large monitor that lets guests check the actual weather inthe mountains before they go on their journey.

The food truck was amazing! My friend and i are studying abroad and went to hotel bodmi restaurant after skiing for the afternoon. Bruno, the sous chef in the food trucks, was such a pleasure to talk to and made the experience so good overall. He was the highlight of my day! And my food was warm and delicious. Just what he needed after learning how to ski in his Swiss Alps. Must go if you are in town and talk with him!.

We will definitely return and highly recommend this place! An excellent location to stay. Small but a very charming hotel. The staff is fantastic and very attentive! We had styrofoam and half board, well worth the price! The food is delicious! Not to mention that the hotel is situated with beautiful scenery surrounding it!.

Overall, this location has provided us with an amazing family vacation experience. I believe that even though i try to put it into words, it wont adequately sum up the location, the view, and the service provided by mr. Marc and sms. Martina. Breathtaking views of the two enormous mountains from the balcony. Large, roomy, cozy rooms. For our group of 6 adults and 5 children, we had reserved 2 apartmentstyle accommodations. Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The mark handled all the basic amenities, including cutlery and towels, napkins, bathing liquids, kitchen dish washer, washing machine, dryer, etc., as well as other essential items like cutleries, towelsand napkin, bathroom supplies. Because there wasnt enough head room while taking a shower, ive personally found the bathroom irritated. Rest was fine. Public transportation is simple. A bus stop is directly outside the hotel, which takes you to main street directly, where you can connect to various parts of grindlewald from there.

Without a doubt, the best option in grindelwald! The host and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The room is very spacious and has tastier furnishings, including i love the kitchen and balcony. It is neat and clean. Situated at the foot of first mountain, it offers breathtaking views, and within stepping distance you can easily go out and take beautiful pictures of the valley. Additionally, its conveniently close to the cable car to reach the top of First mountain. I wholeheartedly recommend it!.
