I stayed there about a year ago during the 2020 summer. I loved the hotel. As solitary hiker during ultraks for four nights, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the room was nice and clean. Its not rated as 4.5 or 5.0 stars, but you know that when you book. My room exceeded my expectations i spent the days in the mountains rather than in my hotel room. There was even dinner there, which was also enjoyable. The only thing ive said is that the breakfast is very basic. No freshly prepared food was available, there was hardly any cold deli meat, yogurt, or cheese. In terms of healthy options like freshly cut fruits, healthier bread alternatives, etc., ill be interested in seeing more diversity in healthy choices like fresh cut fruit, more healthy bread options, plus more vegetarian or vegan options. Not everyone consumes cold meat.

The room is clean and modern. The facilities are simple given its remote location. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Its quite a unique experience to sleep in tavern on the top of peaks at 3100 m altitutude, with room views of the Matterhorn.

I didnt visit the hotel. Excellent value for the money and recommended if you want something simple for dinner. We went to the restaurant in the gorgergrat village bistro for supper but didn't want to spend too much money. Very friendly staff and delicious food (think rosi and other walliser dishes).

I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. The low ratings of this motel really start to shock me. I thought the restaurant and hotel personnel were both excellent. Excellent housekeeping and the room. Being close to the town bahnoff, the gorgengrat train, and bus loop made the hotels location ideal.

Saya ingin memberi Anda lebih banyak bintang dan saya bertanya-tanya apakah saya bisa memberi Anda bintang ketiga atau bahkan keempat untuk staf yang baik. Namun, semua masalah di sini cukup memberikan bintang ketiga atau bahkan keempat. Hotel ini jelas membutuhkan renovasi dan setidaknya perbaikan, seperti yang telah disebutkan oleh tamu lain dalam ulasan. Hampir semuanya tampak "rusak", tidak rapi dan ceroboh, hotelnya sudah tidak ada jiwa (lagi). Meja sarapan memiliki dekorasi kereta luncur di atas styrofoam, set sumpit lebih berbentuk puzzle dan sumpit masih berada di lantai di sebelah ruang terbuka. Dekorasinya menggantung di langit-langit, masih ada sekat coron di mana-mana di area tamu, kursi bar rusak dan rel alumunium di pintu masuk berhari-hari. Sistem ventilasi di lobi bersiul seolah-olah Anda sedang duduk di dalam jet jumbo dengan pintu setengah tertutup.
