I started messaging the hotel about some arrangements a couple of weeks prior to my arrival, and they were very responsive and helpful. The check-in staff misspelled a guest's name when applying for the digital Interlaken Guest Card, but when we followed up with another staff the next morning, she quickly resolved it by providing us with a physical card. The hotel is conveniently located - only a few minutes' walk from the train station and very close to shops and restaurant. We left the windows opened a little during the night but it wasn't noisy. Although the hotel is old (built in 1800s apparently), there is an elevator and everything was clean. They probably realized that the rooms could be quite warm in warmer months, so a good sized standing fan was included in the room, which was perfect (perfect temperature in the night). The rain was heavy in the final night we stayed and the windows were dripping a little even though they were closed. We placed two small towels under the windows and it was okay. Our booking included free breakfast. On the days we ate there, there were scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, hams, yoghurts, bread, fruits, coffee, tea, juice, etc., which is pretty decent. I saw the bad reviews before I booked and I was worried, but I did not experience any of those. In fact, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Interlaken.

The room was clean and spacious. The hotel itself within walking distance of Interlaken West and Ost, where there is a huge choice of restaurants and shops. A couple of things we thought strange, first we arrived at 2.50 and were told that check in was not until 3, so to sit down and wait! The receptionist was friendly after that. The second thing was that house keeping didn’t come to service the room until 3.45pm, when we were already back from our days activities and resting. But these were minor things and overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel has a great location. 9 mins walk to Interlaken West and 20 mins walk to Interlaken Ost. About one minute to Coop grocery store and souvenir stores. The room was excellent. Pretty spacious and really nice. Small bathroom but the room makes up for it. Breakfast was fresh and good. Free luggage storage. Shared pantry with fridge and microwave.

Uma experiência bem confortável. Café da manhã maravilhoso e com opções deliciosas. O quarto era grande e com um estrutura confortável. O hotel faz o serviço de guardar as malas antes do check in sem custo adicional e fornece o cartão de transporte para turistas. Não utilizamos pois estávamos com o swiss travel pass, mas mesmo assim é um recuso maravilhoso. A localização é excelente, dá tranquilo para ir a pé para a estação de trem e fica bem no coração de Interlaken, muito central e próximo de toda os comércios. Amamos a estadia.

Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Schönes Ambiente im Restaurant. Zimmer absolut okay. Gibt auch noch einen Aufenthaltsbereich mit Kühlschrank. Das war super.

While the room and building was full of character and history, it was also well-equipped with plenty of space and storage for travellers. The common room for guests had snacks, tea, and coffee, as well as a large fridge. The location is great, a few minutes walk to Interlaken West station and very close to a convenience store. There's a bakery just next to the building and the Interlaken Flagship shop is just down the road.

The hotel is decent. Both train stations are accessible on foot. The room has an open window. Shower and bathroom. Two beds. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. The location is good. We had a good price and were satisfied with our stay. Emails are promptly answered. The breakfast was decent.

A traditional hotel in a century old building. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. My room doesnt have air conditioning, but they provide a fan, which is great because the temperature rarely goes above 25 degrees. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. The location is great, close to interlaken west station only 5 minutes walk. If you need a hair dryer, just ask the staff at the counter who are always willing to help. The hotel is upgrading as something is old.
