Schönes, sauberes Zimmer und super freundliches Personal beim Check in, wie auch beim Abendessen und Frühstück. Wir haben sehr gut am Abend gegessen und auch die Lage des Hotels ist optimal um hinunter zum See, den kleinen Parks und der Promenade zu gelangen.

Very nice hotel on the Castagnola side of Lugano. The hotel is in a nice location with easy access to the trails heading to Gandria as well as central Lugano vis the #2 bus. The hotel provides a free bus pass. The hotel is well kept and a good value. The staff was very friendly and the on-site restaurant is a nice option for an appertivo or an informal dinner. Access to Mount Bre funicular and restaurants is easy via bus or on foot. Lugano is a wonderful city and this hotel is a nice base in which to visit.

A nossa estadia no Hotel locanda foi muito boa! A localização não é central, porém fica muito próximo ao Centro da cidade, em um charmoso bairro e com o eficiente transporte suíço, podemos no locomover para os pontos turísticos, sem nenhum problema. Quem permanece por um período de no mínimo três diárias, recebe um ticket que permite andar gratuitamente no transporte público, além de descontos em vários outros, como o Funiculare do monte San Salvatore. Fomos muito bem recebidos no Check-in pela Carolina. O nosso quarto era com varanda e tinha uma vista do lago de Lugano. À noite, podíamos ficar ali apreciando a vista e tomando uma taça de um vinho. O café da manhã é muito bem servido e completo e a funcionária que atende, muito prestativa. O hotel atualmente pertence a um casal, ele suíço e ela Brasileira, ambos também foram muito simpáticos durante o nosso Check-out. Estava fazendo muito calor e ter ar condicionado no quarto foi um alívio. Apesar disso, o frigobar era do tipo que apenas refrigera, mas não gela as bebidas, o que é muito comum nos hotéis da Suíça. O hotel não dispõe de elevador, o que é importante salientar para quem tem dificuldade de mobilidade. Como estávamos viajando com malas grandes, foi um pouco difícil subir com elas até o segundo andar. Como sugestão, poderiam colocar suporte aquecido para secar as toalhas. Evitariam que fossem trocadas diariamente. Em resumo, o Hotel Locanda é uma ótima opção em Lugano!

The staff was wonderful. Carolina, the evening manager, was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful to us! The brkfast buffet was excellent, as were the gals managing it. The dinner menu/ food was also excellent. The room was nice wth a view of the lake. Good location down the street from busstop. Quiet area away from the bustle of Lugano Ctr. Would recommend!

We arrived later in the evening than expected and the staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful, staff held our luggage while we explored the city. My husband’s birthday was the morning we checked out and they surprised him during breakfast with a croissant and a candle. It made a special start to the day.

Place was amazing. Staff were helpful and went out of their way to help. Room was large and clean with a balcony overlooking the lake. Bus stop was feet from the door and the Olive Tree walk started next to thee hotel. Overall just an amazing place.

Super nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr saubere Unterkunft, mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Frühstück war absolut ausreichend, inklusive frisch zubereitetem Kaffee oder Kakao…. Sehr nahe zum See gelegen, Lugano ist zu Fuß oder sehr einfach mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Parkplatz nur zum einchecken vor der Unterkunft vorhanden, aber weitere Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe stehen zur Verfügung.

Nice location and good hotel. The only issue was that there was no window in our room since we were given last room on the top floor. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Uncomfortable rooms with narrow twin beds, insuficient garbage space, towels, for the included breakfast if you ask an egg they charge you 5CHF/EGG without telling it in advance. The receptionist has no time to give clarifications, he gave us a local map last day. He gave us a wrong information that costed us an afternoon and useless 30 km of dangerous road.
