Very recommend rooms with a view and balcony. Every morning waking up to the view was something we couldn't get enough of. We had a great time staying here. We chose the lake view room with a balcony and it was well worth it. The proprietors are nice and very accommodating. When you check out, they sometimes even give you a ride to the bus stop or train station because it's uphill. One morning I was unable to get breakfast, but they were so kind that they asked my husband to make a plate and bring it to the room.

We heartily suggest this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful and opulent lake vacation! Particularly suitable for couples! On the day of our departure, we arrived at the hotel with a beautiful set of champagne and chocolates because they made it our honeymoon. The surprise didn't end there, as we were taken aback by the view from our balcony room, the outdoor breakfast area, the garden with two resident rabbits, and the wooden planks that enabled one to take a dip in the lake, which was freezing but quite calming. The breakfast buffet was always a delight for us because the hotel staff is incredibly kind and helpful. We have a great position to get to other areas for day activities, which would leave us with the town in a commotion. Thanks to Shiva, who suggested we go stand-up paddling, which will remain a swiss memory forever! The rooms were designed in a very distinct Swiss all-style, and the restroom, despite the previously published reviews, was surprisingly nicer in terms of space. Because it is so worthwhile, reserve a room with a balcony! One of our Swiss highlights was seeing a rainbow on our final night as a passing shower. May I also mention how much I enjoy the porch doors painted pastel pink?

We had the best time and would strongly suggest returning. Throughout our visit, we enjoyed breakfast and dinner, and we both thought both were excellent. After mastering the boiled egg machine and the coffee maker for breakfast, I decided to try the supper machine again the following evening because it was so excellent. The personnel were outstanding and worked hard, in the heat, and in a speedy manner. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating, and wed be delighted to return. The paddle steamer that stopped just outside and rode us all around the lake is one of our favourite things that the paddle steamer that made stops us in a seat at the table and would get a Swiss rail pass, the walk to the main road for the bus or train station was either difficult or extensive, depending on which route you went. The road is only steep, or the path winds up the hill, although it is located just behind the hotel and the lane winds up the hill.
