I can tell you what was wrong with the hotel and they really forgot what I mean. It was a montreal jazz festival. And then, they gave us only one sheet of paper that was very thin and we had to ask for more for the second night. After that, there was the cupboard which we couldn't open and presumably contained the mini kitchen, but it was locked. Last but not least, the room was clean but very hot. After that, there was a fan, but I had to stand in front of it to feel anything. Finally, you cannot swing a cat in the shower because there is cheap hand soap and shower gel that makes me impossible to swing in. In the bathroom, they have cheap shower gel and hand wash and a shower that can't be swinging. In the morning offerings, I got a tinned fruit cocktail, some yogurt, store bought pastry, and offer.

We had a beautiful stay here and would recommend it. The room was smaller than usual but had enough space for your bags and to move around. Everything was kept simple. The train station is about a short walk downhill. If you come back to the station, proceed on the street to the first path until you can see the escalator which will bring you up to the railway station. Very modern and everything worked well. Sadly, when we stayed, the restaurant downstairs was extremely busy and breakfast was offered. Continental staples like cereals, bread, yogurt, ham, cheese, and croissants. To start the day, it is enough. Thankfully, there is a lift that will bring you to your room. We had a good night's sleep because we didn't hear much noise at night.

When traveling from Genève to Laverne, I spent one night in Montreal. Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The lakeside train station is a 5 minute walk away. There aren't many views, but it's not far to see all the views! Even though the room was small, it was immaculate and equipped with everything you could possibly need. As it was very peaceful outside, the windows were not stuck when open. I had no reservations in recommending the hotel. Take the golden pass train later, you will see them all. Fantastic Queen Studios is also fantastic.

Nice hotel in the center of Montreal. I booked a single room and got a nice double room which was bigger than expected as usual for hotels in traditional areas of the city. I can highly recommend it to travelers and couples staying in this area for a few days.
