Very handy, very helpful hosts, great breakfast! The location is great, next to a nice bar, opposite s supermarket, and very close to lifts to first and local bus stops. The hosts are friendly and knowledgeable, they graciously posted us some things we had forgotten. We stayed downstairs in tv rooms and appreciated having access to the dining area so we could sometimes get takeaway.

We had a great time staying at this hostel or homestay. A lovely location in the charming village of Grindelwald. Everything about the accommodation, including the room, service, hospitality, breakfast spread, location, and view from the apartment, was ideal.

Excellent value! The rooms are spotless, cozy, and functional, ideal for those who prefer to spend their vacation skiing or hiking rather than lounging in their rooms. The proprietors are a lovely young family who are extremely accommodating and serve an amazing breakfast buffet. It was ideal because we spent six nights there with our three children. Please keep in mind that there are some regulations to adhere to, such as the 10 pm quiet time, so go somewhere if you want to have tepid party. However, i couldnt give Lehmanns more highly enough recommendation. One piece of advice : If you have many devices to charge, bring recharging batteries or purchase one at the nearby convenience store 200 meters down the road because it is crafted from renowned swiss chalets with only one outlet per room.

The location is excellent, just 5 minutes from the station. The best breakfast, clean room, hot hot water. A little tight rules, but they are understandable. There is no odor in the room and it is immaculate. We had a great time during our four days and three nights there. Because of our easy checkout, they pack the lunch for us. I appreciate the wonderful memories.

I spent a full week here while traveling in the middle of singapore with my wife for idly vacation in september 2023. Since it is rented by Marco and friska, lehmann herberge is not advertised as if it were merely attempting to protect their home from fire and clogging the toilets, there are strict regulations regarding cooking and washing of clothes, but this is understandable because they are only trying to keep their house safe from flames and toilet leaking. Franziskin personally cleans the rooms every day and is helpful in giving advice on the various places to see in rindlewald. Although breakfast may be simple, it fills our stomach so we can go outside each morning satisfied. Marco usually has some reservations, yet overall, he is kind and willing to offer alternatives. Thank you, marc for telling us about the trip down to the river for picnic! The rooms are tidy and spotless, and the breakfast is excellent! Its surprising that at night, sleeping at nights is quite quiet and cozy because of the home rules. Naturally, prices to stay here are higher for the sake of convenience because grindleswald is the main attractions. On twilight on july 25, there is an evening event where the entire town of Grindels town is lively and active at

Saya menginap 2 malam yang menyenangkan selama perjalanan ski. Lokasi sempurna, 5 menit dari stasiun dan bahn Pertama. Dekat dengan Coop, Voi dan beberapa toko olahraga. Halte bus berjarak 2 menit. Kamar bagus dan bersih dengan semua kebutuhan dan kamar mandi berada di lorong. Sarapan dasar tapi sangat enak dengan kopi dan jus! Layanan yang indah dan penuh perhatian. Nilai uang yang luar biasa, saya pasti akan kembali.

Excellent bandb stay in the magical grindelwald. The host was very kind and shared many useful information about hiking trails in this area. Breakfast, especially the bircher muesli and blueberry yogurt, was the best ive ever had anywhere in Switzerland. Very close to Grindelholz station and the nearest coop is only a 5minute walk away. Highly recommended!.

This place is fantastic and ideal for skiers. Its significantly cheaper than other lodging in the area, but when you are on the slopes all day, you dont have time for the additional amenities that other places offer to make up for their cost. The woman of the house was a wonderful hostess, we didnt want anything more. There are many rules in this house, however, most are common sense and none are particularly stringent, hes just chinese. A shared area with tea and coffee facilities, as well as ice machines, and lots of extra outlets is available downstairs. Slippers are provided. Free wifi. Breakfast options are plentiful. Rooms have private bathrooms. Excellent location, close to many lovely restaurants and right next to the best pub in town. Cons the rooms have very few sockets. Walking down icy makes it difficult to descend the hill. 10/10 would recommend.

I will most certainly return because of the excellent value for the money. While on a skiing trip, i had savored two nights. The first Bahn and station are both in pristine position, 5 minutes away. Numerous sports stores, including coop, voi, and several sports shops are nearby. Two minutes drive away is ota bus stop. In the hallway, there is an excellent, spotless room with all the necessities and en suite bathroom. Breakfast is simple but delicious, featuring coffee and juice! Lovely and attentive service.

This was one of our favorite places we stayed on our trip in august. The view was amazing, and the hosts were very nice and gave us great recommendations for hiking where it wouldnt be as busy.The rooms were simple but had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and our kids commented many times about how nice or friendly the host was.

The breakfast was excellent and quite clean. Nothing was lacking in my opinion. The woman did a fantastic job of cleaning, and the place was immaculate. She appears to be like idolf who puts in incredibly hard work. Above all, the room with balcony that overlooked the north wall of eiger was in an excellent position. There was nothing inconvenient because it was close to the train station and in the heart of the city. I believe it to have been the greatest location for the price. At first, she seemed stodgy, but she was actually very kind and made us feel at ease, so there was no issue. During our visit, we didnt hear any noise from the neighborhood. We were able to get plenty of sleep, which was extremely peaceful. In grindelwald, everything was fine, including the owner.
