A really wonderful little camp thats very underrated. Very neat, well looked after, clean bungalows. Beautifully maintained garden and lawns. Outdoor and inside kitchen for use by campers and visitors to the area. friendly staff. Yes, you can see sugarcane and buildings and lights on the opposite side of the river, but the camp's game viewing and care make up for that.

Madeline is a tiny camp with only 5 chalets and campers. Its in a game rich area where you usually see great sightings. Being a satellite camp, you book in at Madeline Gate as a guest and then drive through to the camp after that the chalets are spacious with space for four people, crockery, cutlery, pots, fridge, kettle, and a bathroom shower. There is a shared kitchen area with a gas stove and hot water is always available. Towels and soap are also provided, make sure you bring a flashlight in the evenings as the break area lacks light. There is no shop here, so buy everything you need at one of the larger camps bergendal is about arms away. It is a beautiful spot. The only distraction is that you can hear the farm and madeline town from the chalets, which takes away some of the experience. Still a lovely camp with great wildlife.

For the last night in Ruger, we reserved a room in Milane. We arrived at the Madeline gate at 18.10 a. M. and were met by a man who said guests must check in at the Melane gate. Then drive to the gate and you'll be met by a grumpy man who says they're expecting us. We told him that the site was nowhere to be found when we were instructed to check in at the gate. We had to uproot and relocate to the only place with electricity because the power kept tripping on the first site we tried because it kept tripping. I have to be honest, unless you have time constraints to stay here, I'd look for a camp outside ruger, where you get much better value for money.

My daughter and I went camping for a week, and we stayed at Madeline Satellite Camp right next to the fence and had a great time. We had elephants, bushbabies, hyenas, and genius along with the usual audience like impalas and warthogs at night. Without the bustle of the main camps, the camp is very intimate and I will definitely return there. It was amazing. The bathrooms were spotless and spotless, and the camp has a large gas-operated deep freeze for campers to share if needed.

There are 2 fully equipped kitchens, 1 inside and 1 outside, tables and chairs, plus enough electrical outlets. No queues for showers, and few people stay here so it's generally quieter. Be careful of monkeys during the day, they will steal your food.
