The property was great. The pool was convenient and there was plenty of sun chairs for the amount of guests. The resort has everything you need from a convenient store, massage, PADI shop and two restaurants. The happy hour is great but the food is so-so. The hotel staff are kind and very helpful. The staff at the restaurant are kind but sometimes on island time and orders aren’t always correct, which happens sometimes. Overall would recommend. The AC in our room didn’t blow all the way to the bedroom as it was in a corner. The fan breeze somehow could not go through the bed net. And the washroom stayed fairly humid and warm.

En general todo me gusto seguridad burn ambiente muy bonito limpio pequeños detalles que no me gustaron personal muy poco comunicativo incluso no es muy agradable no saludan ni mucho menos dan una sonrisa los únicos muy agradables son los chicos de los restaurantes eso fue una cosa la otra fue cuando podré e una ensalada que era mango y avocado a mi no me gusta el mango pedí sólo avocado pero fue imposible no me dieron lo que yo quería yo pagaba por supuesto pero no era mango y avocado di no no era posible darme solo avocado lo encontré irracional un hotel de calidad y no poder hacer algo por un cliente fue lo que ensucio un poco mi estadía pero lo demás hermoso

After a hectic few days in Stone Town, Amaan was the perfect way to end my Zanzibar holiday. I initially booked a room at Kanjibange Bar, which ended up being the wrong place for a solo older female. When I texted my new friend Maskat (the incredible woman who manages the Learn Traditional Cooking with Mama's of Zanzibar (best cooking class ever - a MUST if you are into learning Zanzibar cooking / culture) how uncomfortable I was at my hotel, she suggested I book at Amaan Beach Bungalows, and I was so glad she did. It was clean, comfortable, with a lovely pool and great massage right there on the property. Steps to the beach and Maasai shopping and easy walking distance to lots of restaurants. Great choice!
