The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is a short walk to the Forodhani Gardens and the former Slave Market. There are several restaurants closeby especially a very popular one Lukmaan. The area around the hotel is bustling in the day and quiet at night. A taxi cannot drive up to this property so you will to do a short walk through the streets to get there. The staff were friendly and always greeted us. They were helpful when we called for assistance with anything we needed to clarify with the room. The room was very clean and maintained throughout the day. The bathroom and bedding were clean. The common areas for breakfast and by the pool were also clean. Any messes in the common areas were cleaned promptly. The bed is a firm mattress but it was comfortable. The room was quiet at night and during the day we could only hear the fountain in the main area faintly. The wifi connection was strong while we were on the premises. The breakfast was delicious offering a variety of options that changed daily. It included meat, cooked vegetables, fresh fruit, local pastries as well as coffee and tea. They prepare eggs to your liking upon request. The pool is a decent size and calm. It has a short shallow end then becomes quite deep. Beware that there is no indication of how deep it at actually is. Overall, I think the price was fair for the quality of the stay. We had an enjoyable stay at Antonio Garden Hotel and would recommend this hotel for your stay in Zanzibar.

Personnel accueillant et serviable du début à la fin (j’ai fait une nuit)je m’y suis senti bien et en sécurité à l’intérieur. On ne peut pas y accéder par voiture il faut marcher un tout petit peu. La chambre était propre il n’y avait pas de saleté ni de bêtes. Le personnel repasse dans la chambre l’après midi pour remettre un coup d’anti moustique. Petit dej ok avec fruits omelette et qques specialites. J’ai pas testé la piscine. J’y retournerai sûrement.

Veldig fint opphold! God service! De hadde gode rutiner ved å jevnlig komme å spraye myggspray på rommet vårt. I tillegg til å åpne vindu og lukke tidsnok før kvelden. Kom også å pakket inn sengen i myggnetting lenge før kveld. Kjekke folk som jobbet der og god frokost og mat generelt. Vi var 4 uker totalt på forskjellige steder, og dette var det beste. Anbefales!

this hotel is amazing especially considering the cost. my initial hotel was cancelled on me at the last minute. thank heavens for that. this place is clean, close to amenities and extremely comfortable. we loved the bed. Food: the dinner was great. we only ate it once but the chef is amazing. we enjoyed the dinner. The breakfast on the other hand was just normal. we really did not enjoy it much but it was good enough. Bed: its no easy to find a comfy bed when travelling and this had just that. a comfy room and bed. Premesis: the the rooms, courtyard, restaurant area and pool are kept clean at all times. overall, this place is worth booking. we loved it.

Fantastisk perle med god beliggenhed. Hyggelig og afslappende atmosfære, hyggelig restaurant. Generelt et super charmerende sted, roligt trods at det er centralt placeret. Vi fik lov at tjekke ind en time før, hvilket var en super service da vi også rejste med et barn. Værelserne er mega lækre med aircon, og badeværelse med både koldt og varmt vand og vandtryk, hvilket ikke altid er tilfældet her på Zanzibar.

It is a great hotel with a nice garden and small pool. The staff is wonderful. They could spend more energy on their restaurant and chefs to expand and deepen their craft. Otherwise a pleasant relaxing place. They use toxic fuel for their tikki torches in the garden... makes no sense as it is smoky, smelly, uncomfortable and self defeating - it drove us to other restaurants.

All staff were very nice. Check in fast and any problems. The Green Lagoon Restaurant in hotel is very good. We eat Grilled Octopus with rice. It was very delicious and rice had very good nuts souce.

Nice little oasis in the middle of Stonetown. Clean, comfortable, easy check in and check out. Shaded palm trees and pool was refreshing after strolling Stone town in the hot weather. AC was in room worked well too. Had an early flight so they packaged our breakfast to go. Great hotel for the price.
