This is what this place is all about. I was informed at rp that there was no cook because he was ill, so there was no supper. I had to plan our own takeaway, which finally arrived at 10.30 pm. I was in good company. There was also no hot water in my room. I was told in the morning that they have solar geysers that have to be used for 10 minutes before anything comes out. No warning or signage in the room about this.

The Edelwyssinn in Morogoro is not your typical African hotel. It is family owned and operated with a lot of attention to detail. Camila and Roland manage the establishment with a European touch. From the small pool in the garden to the beautifully decorated rooms, the great food and coffee to the great beds and showers. Everything is perfect. We spent three nights here and had the best of times. We highly recommend it and will be back. Thank you!.

I absolutely would recommend this quality, well-maintained hotel. What a lovely hotel tucked in the hills. Excellent value for money. Our room was classy, spotless, and modern. The restaurant's seating areas and views were stunning both in the day and at night. A lovely outdoor space where you can unwind. We ate in the restaurant, and we went home satisfied with our Swiss experience. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The road to it is steep, but we were in a jeep, so it was no problem there. However, I saw tub tuck on the road up.

I arrived to a beautiful view and a spotless room, which is what this place is built for. I was told at rp that there was no chef because he was sick, so there was no supper. We had to arrange our own takeaway, which eventually arrived at 10.30 pm. Luckily, we were in good company. Then there was no hot water in my room. I was informed in the morning that there is a solar geyser, but you have to use it for 10 minutes before anything comes out. There is no sign in the room indicating this.

This place is a must to stay at. We will come back to stay here again. The location is very strategic and clean. This hotel is run by a family and has a very good reputation for attention to detail. The hotel staff manage the place with a European touch. They serve an amazing menu and coffee. The rooms are so modern. We stayed here for 3 nights and had such good times.
