As already mentioned, at least the cottages need to be renovated. We were just three guests there so we had the entire eating area to ourselves, which is still very nice to remain in. There is no longer power at 10 p.m., which is even more adventurous when all lights are out. It's unfortunate that very few people choose to support this establishment.

In northern Tanzania, Rush National Park is a treasure that is often overlooked by more well-known locations. Famous for its forests and lakes, stunning wildlife, pink flamingos, and blue monkeys. Despite being quite different and big, the individual lodges are getting worn out. The main dining space, bar, and cuisine are all excellent. All in a lovely garden that is constantly monitored at night just in case one of the neighbors visits. Definitely worth a stay here and very convenient for the park.

We had set our sights higher after reading the reviews. We spent two nights before going on a safari. The owner died a year ago, and our guide, who has been going to Novella for several years, informed us that he hopes another owner will take over and repair the lodging. It was a pleasant evening hosted by the staff, who were really welcoming. Numerous roasted meats were served for a delicious meal under the stars, which was a short hike from the lodging. The mattress was comfortable, and our room was tidy. Giraffes arose as we woke up outside our windows. It was helpful that we were away from the lodging during the day. Perhaps the lodging can fulfill its full potential if a new proprietor takes over.

We stayed here for two nights because it was the first leg of a safari. The rooms were tidy, and we woke up to find a giraffe just outside our door. We were in the last bungalow so we could get up early to take pictures of the amazing sunrise and views of it mere and it Kilimanjaro. Our tour guide made the selection for the lodge after hearing that the owner had passed away. Everyone was hoping that the new owners would make some improvements. The most significant drawback was the lack of warm shower water. The bathroom needs updating but it was clean. It was our first interaction with the Tanzanian people and they were pleasant. It is private and serene, so many thanks!.
