Velmi se nám líbila poloha hotelu, vzhledem k tomu, že je mimo další turistická letoviska, je zde klid a soukromí. Nejbližší supermarket byl vzdálený cca. 20 km, což pro nás nebyl s vypůjčeným autem problém. Jídlo v restauraci bylo opravdu výborné. Snídaně byly oproti tomu bohužel slabší. Pokoj byl uklízen každý den a ručníky měněny dle potřeby.

Extremely pleasant and friendly staff. Great selection of food and it changed at breakfast every day which was good. Excellent wifi even in room for me. Flowers on bed every day lovely touch. Activities well organised. Hotel am hour from stone town and quiet little village nearby but this is perfect if you're looking for a quiet getaway.

Ich würde sofort wieder in das schöne Hotel in Makunduchi fahren. Service passt, mit dem Essen waren wir immer zufrieden. Man kann in der Preisklasse natürlich nicht 4 Sterne-Feinkost erwarten. Der Hotelchef und das Personal sind absolut nett und jederzeit super freundlich auch bei allen extra-Wünschen. Der Strand ist sehr schön, manchmal liegt etwas Seegras herum. Es ist total ruhig, neben dran gibt es nur ein weiteres Hotel etwas weg. Es ist ein eher schon einsamerer Strand. In Makunduchi ist eigentlich kein Tourismus, es gibt ein paar kleine Kioske und drei vier Läden, die aber eher für die Einheimischen sind. Man kann dort wunderschön ausspannen. Wenn man mehr Trubel will, kann man mit dem Taxi an die belebteren Strände nach Paje und Jambiani fahren. Ausflüge und (blue) safaris werden vom Hotel aus angeboten.

We, a family of 7, stayed here for 8 nights during december and it was a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The location is great right next to the beach and we really appreciated the fact that we were "alone". The two pools are nice and clean and we liked that they were filled with saltwater. The atmosphere is really relaxed and the staff is super friendly and they really make every effort to make you feel at home. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean and each room is equipped with a fan and AC, although the AC is a bit noisy so we chose to leave it off at night. The beds were big and comfortable and had mosquito nets. The breakfast was great with omelet/scrambled/fried eggs, boiled eggs, pancakes, fresh fruits, sausages, juice etc. If you want to have a calm and relaxing vacation at the poolside and at a small beautiful beach with excellent service away from all the noise and crowds this is the place to be. Many thanks to the manager and the wonderful staff who made this stay unforgettable!

The location, Makunduchi, is very calm. It's perfect for those who want some rest. The hotel facilities are simple but clean, organized and comfortable. I got impressed with the Wi-fi connection in the rooms. It's very good considering the location is far from Stone Town. Not the best connection but quite fast and reliable. The food is very good, tasty and prices are fair. Don't hire tours (Blue Safari, Stone Town, etc.) thru the local hotels because they are more expensive than if you negotiate with a local taxi driver. Most of the taxi drivers can make arrangements for the tours. The swimming pool is excellent.

Preis/Leistung ist soweit okay für die Unterkunft wobei der "Meerblick" nicht wirklich nachvollziehbar ist. Leider wird man mit den Taxi Fahrten sehr abgezogen auch vom Hotel aus, jeder extra service Kostet viel Geld.

We had a pleasent stay! our room was about a 100 ft away from the beach! ( the beach in th south east is not always nice, but they have two pools) The hotel could use some upgrades overall such as the beach & pool chairs are mostly ripped and dirty, the linen in the room are clean yet deteriorate it. The staff does a really good job with the resources they are provided and are very attentive of their guest!

Helt okej ställe o vara på om man vill ha ett budget hotell. Super bra service hjälpte mig massor när jag vart sjuk o följde med mig till sjukhuset mm så tacksam för det!
