We stayed for 4 nights and to us it's a clear 5 star rating. Rooms and facilities are very comfortable and clean, excellent food, staff is very very nice, great beachside location. Very good-looking facilities overall. Regarding the beachside experience, the area with beds and parasols is slightly elevated from the beach itself and the water, which provides a wall that "shields us" from the insisting vendors. This was a reason for us to choose this hotel and it turned out great. Also, the hotel has guards in the area. Of course, when walking next to the water, the vendors approach you, but it's not too annoying. Beachside, staff regularly offers us drinks, which is nice. Beach towels are comfy and bath towels are quite good. Drinking water is provided abundantly. Every day at around 7pm a housekeeper would come to our room to spray it with repellent. We had no bugs all week. The weekly poolside dinner had outstanding food! Things to watch out for: we're fine with it, but you may not be OK with many crows flying close to the tables and attempting to fetch food immediately after people leave their table. But this part is hard for the hotel to combat. However, there are some 5-10 cats wandering around the premises which are fed by the hotel (and by guests) - this is also fine by us, but may not be the case for others.

Rooms clean, staff friendly, good service and always with a smile. Never seems crowded and always sunbeds etc available. Not much for kids to do although we don’t have kids I would say this is more of an adults destination in general. We stayed after doing safari in Kenya and paid less than those booking a package and then doing day safaris to mainland. So booking separately works out better all round. Beach is tidal and a walk on the reef with a local is well worth it discuss a price or give $10-$20 and I guarantee you will see more than walking alone

We loved this stay. Perfectly clean, well maintained, excellent food, very friendly staff. We spent more time at the quieter mama pawpaw pool. A wonderful stay and we'd love to come back.

Really nice hotel with amazing staff and beautiful surroundings. Choice of food was a little bit limited compare to other hotels we stayed in but everyting they cooked was very tasty.Best food I ever had in all inclusive hotel.

All the things were amazing. Only two things could be better. The entertainment team could be more proactive inviting us for the activities (we are on vacation, so we don’t look at a schedule) and going walk to the beach was almost always a bad experience, there were a lot of guys trying to sell things, following us and disturbing. I know that this is not a matter of the hotel, but it decreases our experience in Zanzibar.

Wir waren vom 28.04.bis 10.05. zu Gast. Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen, die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und besitzt viele Grünflächen und sogar einen eigenen Kräutergarten und Obstbäume. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das stets aufmerksame und äußerst zuvorkommende Personal, wie zum Beispiel Ally, Ramia, Helen und Bertha- alle hier aufzuzählen würde den Rahmen jedoch sprengen. Auch das Essen in den Restaurants wird immer frisch zubereitet und ist sehr abwechslungsreich. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel nur empfehlen!

I was pleasantly surprised with this resort. The food at lunch at the beach bar was very good. The room was beautiful and huge. The only thing that was a little lacking was snacks between meals and the fact that it is a little remote but overall everything was great.

The staff and service was amazing very attentive, professional and friendly. There were many activities in the resort even though we were there during low season. The food in the beginning of our stay was amazing, but the choices reduced by the end of the stay as there were not many guests in April. We however enjoyed the calm environment and the beautiful scenery.

Das Hotel war wahnsinnig schön. Die Restaurants wirklich gut, das Personal und die Betreuung ebenfalls. Die Aussicht war ebenfalls überwältigend. Einziger kleiner Minus Punkt war dke Stromversorgung, mehrmals ist der Strom f0r bis zu 5 h ausgefallen, was eigentlich in so einem Hotel nicht passieren dürfte. Ansonste eine Empfehlung.

infrastructure top et bien entretenue. Très belle chambre avec confort moderne , rien ne manque. Personnel très serviable et très gentil. Qualité et diversité des repas vraiment très importantes (nous avions pris l’option all in) avec des amplitudes horaires très appréciées en vacance ( petit dej jusqu’à 11h). Bémol : c’est un voyage cher et à l’arrivée, nous apprenons que nos chambres (famille de 4) n’étaient pas disponibles à cause d’un problème d’électricité. Isabel , la responsable nous a trouvé une solution en nous logeant 2 jours dans l’hôtel voisin officiellement d’une gamme identique mais qui était bien en dessous en termes de prestations (activités, nourriture) et a pris en charge l’une de nos excursions. C’est très honorable et nous ne pouvons pas reprocher un problème technique mais juste la façon « dernière minute «  de nous l’annoncer à notre arrivée après un long voyage et malgré tout, nous avons été contraints de modifier et accélérer tous nos plans d’excursion en ayant le sentiment quand même d’avoir un peu perdu quelque chose. Rien de sérieux et nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour et d’avoir pu aller à Zanzibar !!
