Hotel in buona posizione a pochi minuti dalla spiaggia, dal villaggio, dai ristoranti. Il proprietario e il personale gentili e disponibili. Camere pulite e spaziose. Colazione abbondante e varia. Hotel provvisto di generatore elettrico, cosa importante a Zanzibar visto che l’elettricità va via tutti i giorni, anche se a volte nemmeno il generatore e’ sufficiente ma il proprietario avvisa per gli orari e fornisce delle lampade che si ricaricano. Noi abbiamo fatto un soggiorno lungo e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Tornerei sicuramente.

My stay was an amazing experience thanks to the lovely stuff, including -- but not limited to -- the owner Mo, Mwana, Chelsea, and Regina. They provided top-notch service with a smile and made me feel part of the family. I also loved the upper deck, where we could grab a bite, just chill or watch the FiFA World Cup. A truly unforgettable experience. I'll be back!🙂

Uhuru was a nice place to stay, and the staff was truly lovely, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my visit. The price was also quite reasonable. The biggest challenge was the frequent power outages. I understand that this was an issue with the local power grid and completely outside of the hotel’s control, but unfortunately, it did impact my experience. The power went out every day or night during my stay, sometimes for extended periods, which meant no lights and no access to WiFi. I also wish I had realized just how far the hotel was from the beach. I enjoyed exploring the area and walking around, but had I understood the distance beforehand, I probably would have chosen a location a little closer to the beach. That said, the property itself is lovely, the staff could not have been nicer, and the price was very reasonable. With more reliable power, I think my experience would have been quite different.

Property was ok with good location. Soft furnishings within the complex were dirty and require replacement especially the mattresses on the pool chairs by the pool . . Electricity went off whilst there.
