With more than 8 years’ experience in managing guesthouses and resorts, this accommodation was founded to create unique guest experiences on Koh Lanta.
We desired to build these houses in our own style. To our mind, a big house was not necessarily the best. We required that these houses were not so big, but airy and cozy. They should make those who stay at feel like at home. Importantly, they should be located not far from the beautiful beaches of Koh Lanta. At last, the project of these tiny houses named “Abrite House” was initiated.
The word “abrite” is derived from the French “abrité”, meaning to house. The meaning of “house” as part of the name “Abrite House” is not just a building, but it is also relevant to “home” that refers to the life that goes on in that building. It was defined as the place where happiness and warmth exist; the place where you can relax your mind, body and soul. “Abrite House” which can be translated as “Baan-Baan” in Thai language also makes you feel the touch of the urban countryside. Particularly, we focus on the concept of simplicity and minimalism in the functional interior design of the houses. “Less space, more happiness”.
