The Alain Inn is only fine. I recently spent five nights there with a friend, and while it wasn't unpleasant, it became clear that all of their typical visitors are Thai, and when I spoke with the receptionist, she said there had only been one other European residing there this year up until Jan. 2015. This is not entirely clear, but it is quite a large hotel beside the Laguna Inn. Although it is not in the heart of the city, the Alain inn is only a 15-minute walk or brief tub ride away. The town center is closer than you might think because it is only two streets away. Breakfast, which is not complimentary, is entirely Thai and the cooked meals were at best cold or lukewarm. There isn't a cafe in the restaurant because it is only open for brunch or other events. Even though they do have complimentary wifi, the rooms are pleasant and clean and lack personality. The lovely Tong Ting tung restaurant, which offers North Thai cuisine and is not to be missed, is located approximately 400 meters away from the road on the opposite side.

This boutique hotel is very clean, pleasantly staffed, quiet, and conveniently located. It's nice to find a quiet, quiet place after a long day of touring and sightseeing. A delicious breakfast is included, and the wifi works like a charm. There are no problems or issues. Give it a try..

They provide free parking, large rooms, and a nice breakfast that more suits the locals, but still enough western food to make a nice breakfast, the wifi was good, and I was able to watch netflix in the evening. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung, das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist gut und lecker, es gibt europäisches und thailändisches Essen, der Frühstücksraum ist sehr schön und sonnendurchflutet. Das Bett war für europäische Verhältnisse zu hart, aber das ist eine rein persönliche Einschätzung. Die Lage ist sehr gut, etwas außerhalb vom Trubel, daher sehr ruhig. Der Nachtmarkt ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen.
