This place is in a great location, near the train station and motorboat port, with easy access to local services like tuktuks. It's also very helpful for discovering travel destinations. The common area is really nice and located close to the Pasak River. The room is very clean, and the entire place has a charming feel, built with traditional Thai-style wood. I also love their cat.

Greater location on the river and super convenient to the train station. Plentiful of restaurants and shops nearby, including a 7-Eleven. Lovely staff. Basic but comfortable rooms in a charming old building. Great value for money.

I stayed in one of the upstairs, teak rooms with fan and shared bath this time. Exceptional value with a comfortable room and clean, shared facilities. Wonderful raised area along the river to gather with friends and enjoy the views. Convenient to the shuttle boat across to the main town and along a traveler-friendly street near the train station. This has become my go-to accommodation choice in Ayutthaya.

Very traditional, beautifully preserved wooden building, with all the charm you need. Shared living room upstairs with the open view on the river, couple of tables and comfortable seats. Downstairs patio going straight onto the river, where you can have morning drink, observing boats going around. Shared bathrooms weren't a problem, as there is not too many rooms. Boat away from the city centre and short walk to the train station.

An old wooden building with excellent value rooms. Shared bathrooms are clean with good water pressure. Downstairs rooms have en suite bath with TV and aircon. Right on the river. Perfect for catching an onward train. Family run guesthouse with laundry service and assistance booking local tours and transportation. I have stayed here several times and look forward to my next visit. They also offer showers for non guests for only 50 baht if you want to clean up before your onward travel. This place is a real gem.

Kan varmt anbefales. Vi havde bestilt et værelse med eget bad. Sengen var godt nok lidt hård, men det gik. Det allerbedste var restauranten. Den lå lige ud til en flod og det var så afslappende at sidde der i skyggen med en let brise og super lækker mad. Ville gerne være blevet længere. Personalet var søde og sørgede for, at man følte sig hjemme. Kommer gerne igen. Lige ved siden af hotellet går der en båd over til den anden side, hvor templerne ligger. Koster kun 5 B at tage over og så er man i gåafstand til templerne.

Some reviewers cam here looking for the suburban Holiday Inn experience - oops. At the very least, the room in which we stayed, with a bath and AC, has recently been refurbished. It was clean and fresh. This is not a 5-star experience, but we were not looking for one. And it worked out very well for us. If you want the basic room, with an OK restaurant over the river on which to have AM coffee or sip an evening Chang - just a great spot, Baan Are Gong is for you.

9時前にチェックインでしたが、あらかじめ連絡しておいたので休ませてもらえて助かりました。川沿いのレストランはたまたまやってなかったですが、自由に使えました。眺めがいいです。
