This location truly has everything planned out, from the beautiful, creative decor to the practical setup and helpful staff. We stayed for two nights and can only agree with previous reviews that almost every aspect of this hostel has been carefully considered. The only thing that will keep us from returning was the surprise we experienced at midnight when we discovered that Barn Pang Por hostel is adjacent to a bar with a loud reggae scene with incredibly generous opening hours. Not so much the crowd and customers, but the sound system with a loud bass that can be heard all night until the early hours. If you wanted to sleep well, earplugs weren't a good option. This is the place to go if you intend to stay up partying all night.4,6/515 Sep 2022

The huts in Barn Pang are quite basic, with only two mattresses on the floor and a fan. By the time you put your bags inside there is very little space to move around or get changed. They also get really hot during the day, which is a good thing because it forced us to spend the days exploring like. You can relax on a beanbag in the large common area with free tea, coffee and cookies. The shared bathrooms were beautifully decorated and always very clean, but there were a lot of mosquitoes, so getting bitten every time you took a shower or went to the restroom was almost inevitable. There is also no hot water, but a cold shower after a day in the sun is quite nice. The location is great because it's right in the middle of the island, just a short walk from all the beaches and shops. Not great value for money overall, but everything like that is more expensive compared to other islands.4,6/513 Feb 2022

We just intended to stay for one or two days and fell in love with it so much that almost made it a week. It doesn't matter that this hostel is not close to the beach because it is a small island. Most locations are only a 5-minute stroll away. The rooms are quite simple, just a little hut with two matrixes and a fan, but if you are on a tight budget, this is all you need. They have a very spacious common area, and the staff was very helpful. If youre not going during the high season, I suggest just showing up rather than making a reservation online. You will get a much better deal that way. The only negative aspect of this establishment is the neighbors. While we were there, it was a fairly big bar that wasn't particularly open. Stray dogs were hanging out there at night instead of people who were quite aggressive and territorial. I could have lived with being harmed, which is common in Thailand, but 5 or 6 dogs slow advancing at dawn on a deserted dirt road with their teeth bared. Finding lowcost accommodations such as dorms was extremely difficult, and I am so happy we found this place. The location was ideal for us. Its central location made it easy to walk to the three main beaches patty, sunrise and sunset, and also a short walk to the restaurants on walking street the main pedestrian road. The best part about the location was that we were welcome to use the private beach at the hostels sister resort which was really quiet and had lots of sun loungers and hammocks. The staff were very friendly and gave us a lot of advice thanks to them we had an amazing snorkeling trip. The rooms are simple, with two mattresses on the floor and a fan. Its fine at night, but it would be too hot to sit in during the day. The rooms and shared bathrooms were immaculately clean. Im recommend calling them to make a reservation rather than ordering online. We booked two nights online and extended our stay by two extra nights at a much lower rate than what we paid online.4,2/53 Apr 2022

I made this reservation due to its excellent score. On this lovely island, I remained there for two days. Very gorgeous, indeed! This hostel has an ideal location, as well. All three beaches are directly nearby, including Sunrise, Patricia, and Sunset. It is not difficult to walk there to get to the greatest spot on Sunrise Beach and the most lovely place on the island on a short stroll because the mountain view resort is located directly next to the hostel. Just ascend that spill road and descend once more to this magnificent location. The space was minimal: a fanbed on the floor. Throughout the day and at night, it was very hot. There were lots of mosquitoes in the shower and toilet. The personnel was welcoming. All rooms have WiFi.Fasilitas Populer
