The receptionist staff was quite unresponsive due to their inability to communicate in English very well. There was one staff in particular who was very fluent and we were always glad when she was on duty.

Great hotel. Loud Karaoke party every night in an adjacent that I could hear all the way up on the 4th floor in my room but overall I had a great stay. Very cool hotel.

Stayed 5 nights. Positive 1. After one night I moved from a room that faced the main road to the back and it was a huge difference. The room is nice and clean. 2. Value I paid 1200 baht per night overall it's fair price. 3. Staff is just o. I 4. Location around 68 minutes walk from Hua Hwang exit 3. Negative 1. First night was impossible to sleep because the room faced the main road. 2. The elevator stops between the floors so you have to go up and down half the floor every time, another half. 3. Internet they use the emerald hotel net probably the same owner. But Google recognized many server i. I problems from this hotel every few minutes he blocks you and asks for a catch. Good I had my own internet plan.

The location of the Caval Zoo Hotel is quite strategic, next to a large hotel next to a small road you can find at least 5 Thai massage therapists. Within walking distance you can also walk to hay wang night market for some local food which opens until 34 am in the morning. Underground station is also nearby and surrounded by nightclubs, pubs, and bars. The room is simple and quite small compared to the approximately $35 usd I spent. The bad thing was that the elevator stops midway between two floors, so you have to walk up or down to the floor, which means if you have large luggage, it takes around ten steps to pull the suitcase handle and walk to your room.

We reserved Calypzo 20 which was in a poor location to me. We learned that they had overbooked the rooms when we arrived at the hotel, and we were escorted to Calypzo 1. The Emerald Hotel, a hotel that Ive stayed at several times, is next door. So, I was very happy with it. The Hyo whang station and the Calypzo hotel are both within a 5-minute walk. The hotel has two 711s that are 100 meters and 180 meters, respectively. Although they dont speak much English, the hotel employees are polite. The amenities are minimal and clean. My room had an excessive air conditioner. They eventually fixed it after complaining. It leaking occasionally. Even in small amounts, it still leaks. Definitely not a noisy hotel. Taxis are readily available. The bed is average in comfort. Dont expect Weston like convenience. Overall, a nice hotel for money travelers.

The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The hotel is very clean. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wishes to stay in Bangkok. They serve a good breakfast and lunch menu. Mini fridge with drink in feel up every day. There was no noise and good friendly place.

This hotel is fine but in no way handicapped equipped. AVOID IF HANDICAPPED even if you have minor condition like a sprained ankle. Stairs to the elevator stairs to your floor from elevator. Otherwise a great hotel.

Hotel location is good, only a short walk to MRT. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room clean, good size and comfortable. Have to key in internet password and room key card updated every time upon return to hotel. Overall, GOOD.

새벽에 숙소에 도착하고, 아침 일찍 체크아웃했습니다. 새벽에 체크인한다고 미리 연락했지만, 매우 귀찮다는 느낌으로 키주고, 조식 질문에 말안하고 손가락으로 가르키기만 해서 서비스면에서 아쉬웠습니다. 바로 앞 콩코드 호텔에서 학회가 있었으나, 콩코드 호텔 예약이 꽉차 이곳으로 갔고, 가격대비 훌륭한 위치, 청결상태였습니다.

My wife and I stated at Calypzo early March 2015 for one night. Our goal was to be close to the Soapy Parlors, as a first time experience together in Bangkok. The room was very small, the walls were a bit dirty (foot prints on the wall next to the bed...), and the hot water was not working in the shower. PROS: Not expensive. Walking distance to the Soapy Parlors. Breakfast is around 100 Baht for 1 fried egg, bacon, cheap sausages, bread and coffee. Three 7-Eleven at walking distance. CONS: small room, no hot water, walls a bit dirty, VERY NOISY (the large boulevard is down the window, and there is constant traffic day and night). EATING TIP: Avoid at all cost JOW SEAFOOD accross the boulevard next to the overpass just closeby the Calypzo: the food is way overpriced and the food is horrible (the worst we ate in Thailand - and it's hard to find bad food in Thailand!). Just go eat at LE MADAME Parlor; they have a nice outside patio where you can eat, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. SOAPY TIPS: We visited LE MADAME, NARATHEE, and EMANUELLE (all walking distance, 2 minutes from the hotel). They all welcome couples. We suggest you arrive around 7PM; we were there at 9:30PM and it was pretty empty, except for Emanuelle which was still descent. Emanuelle is more expensive though, but the rooms and service were very nice.
