This hotel is nicely located in the old center, just off the main road, which limits the noise from street traffic. It has a garden where you can sit and relax, and it is a great fallout base for exploring Chiang Mai. The rooms are ok and clean, maybe looking a bit sluggish. But I definitely slept well here. I have mixed experiences with the staff the women and men are very nice and help you out, the younger staff, however, hardly speaks English and is not very friendly or helpful at all.

The atmosphere was very nice, even though the housekeeping was lovely. The bathroom was very clean and adequate. The bed springs were broken. It was very hard to sleep for three nights because of that, especially for the mosquitoes that would snarl in the bedroom.

The receptionist was so angry. I didn't know that this dive was overpriced. Plus, the garden was nice and the photos were so attractive. But, the price is worth it for us, and the service that was provided wasn't worth it at all.

You can find better places to stay in the same fantastic location at a very affordable price. The location is very strategic with many cafes, bars, and activities within walking distance. But the staff at the front desk were extremely indifferent and frequently on their phone. I'm not satisfied. The room was well equipped and comfortable except for the rock hard bed.

Nice location, nice layout of rooms. Clean. Professional owners and operators who are quiet. Go for breakfast at meltdown the road or for coffee across the street. Cheap old city star hotel. At night, there are some strange animals sounds, maybe just one. Rent bikes down the street for baht a day to visit all the temples.

This guesthouse has some very favorable photos that don't really capture reality too well. The room is very sparce, the walls are dirty and covered with smashed mosquitoes, and the bathroom smelled like sewage. That being said, the small interior courtyard was pretty and the staff are available 24x7 and feels very safe. Also, the location is great to explore the old city. Overall, I'd consider this a backpackers place, not really a guesthouse or a hotel, think closer to a private hostel.

The room is small and does not have any chair. The bathroom and the sink is dirty. Water pressure is very weak for shower. Over priced. There are many good quality guest houses around.
