Clean and tasty food home cooked! Peaceful and I recommend for everyone to stay here. Escape the city to be in nature

This visit was our first to Herntai in six years. Any changes made during that period have been fantastic. There are a ton of accommodations and a stunningly scenic and peaceful location. Even when the rice isn't growing, it's a fantastic location to relax, sit quietly, and listen. The management and all of the staff are wonderful and have a great sense of humor, and they work hard to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. The cuisine was delicious, and we didn't feel the need to stay for a couple of days. A true discovery that could be revisited tomorrow. Remember, however, this is not a five-star, impersonal, clinical, big chain hotel. It is a family inviting you into their part of Thailand to find their true love for it, which they so obviously do. I cannot highly recommend this location. After 12 hotels in three weeks, this is by far our favorite all-rounder. Congratulations to everyone at Herntai.

The worst pollution experience I have ever had. I left this place searching for some fresh air, but what I noticed is fire and smog around it. I didn't expect this to happen. Even though their staff is friendly and helpful, I and my wife are extremely disappointed. But I can't stand the dirty air because I am allergic to smog. This is my first and last stay here.

Overall, I give this place a pass, but I doubt I'll stay again. The Herntai resort offers a rustic escape from the bustling hustle and bustle of the city. I understand the concept, but his location's main complaint is that it is a bit run down and messy outside. So many things like trash and beer bottles around the common lounge area can be cleaned. Unused and obsolete equipment on the premises. For example, the universal gym that is old and cannot be used. Breakfast consists of a simple rice porridge with some bread. The room itself is modern, clean, and decent, with an interesting view of the fields. Our challenges were mainly with the air corn, which wasn't working well and was usually too warm. The free bikes we could ride and take in the local village to experience the culture were what I liked the most.

The rooms are spacious with a comfy big bed and very warm shower. I highly recommend it. Food is delicious at a reasonable price.

When you enter the room, you will see a mountain in the background and rice fields, the room is clean, and it has everything you could need to enjoy your relaxing time. Plus, the location is so peaceful and beautiful with views of the mountains and rice fields.

I really love everything about the Herntai. We arrived late because we got lost on the way there. Warning - when GPS to Herntai, remember to make sure it is the right Herntai, as there is another destination called Herntai farm which is 100 km away. The manager was super friendly. I called in advance to let him know about late check in at 9pm, as they close the front desk at 7pm, and he ordered some food for us that were ready upon arrival. We booked a 3 BR cottage, and the last one available as we checked in late that night. We booked through hotels.com and he wasn't able to locate the reservation but accommodated us anyway. The property was beautiful to walk around and lounge around at night among fresh air and stars. By the way, dinner is a must - delicious and best in the area. Unfortunately we discovered the next morning that we got bitten by bed bugs. We walked around the property and it is absolutely peaceful and gorgeous. I looked at different properties and they looked a lot better and cleaner, so we chalked it up to getting a bad room
