I really enjoyed the outdoor patio and the adjoining pool. Very clean. The breakfast was good but would have like scrambled eggs not hard boiled eggs. The staff was very professional and courteous. Price was excellent. The taxi's at the airport charge a bit much for the distance, compared to Bankok prices. The hotel will call a taxi for you and will keep your luggage even after you check out behind the desk. I trust them completely.

This hotel has potential, but the staff needs to improve their service. The room was promoted to have a microwave, but you have to request one. The room has a kettle but no coffee mugs or coffee or tea making supplies. The room was cleaned very late every day, occasionally by the staff knocking on the door after I returned for the day. I only once ate at the restaurant and was not impressed with the quality. Breakfast was at best ok. The hotel was full of russian tourists, which is a bad experience because they are noisy and unfriendly. I never use the pool because they dominate that area all the time. Positive things can be said are that the room was nice for the price and the wifi was fantastic most days.

Everything went smoothly, thanks, kang and kevin for their kind service! Clean and comfortable, close to shops, a currency exchange, and a paradise beach. Nice cafe. Bud was bored, no party.

Maikhao hotel was in a convenient location…less than a mile from Maikhao beach and with plenty of dining options in the vicinity. The property was clean, but older and they were low staff - no bell man. Nonetheless, it is safe and clean enough for families.

Hotel is fairly new. Rooms are clean and comfortable. All new appliances. My main issue is the security or seemingly lack of it. Anybody from the street can access the apartment building. There should be gates/doors which require the hotel key card to open. Breakfast options are pretty limited. This is the first time I've brought my own ham to a breakfast so that I could have something other than plain toast!
