We stayed at this hotel three times previously but it was nine years or more ago. It was a lovely hotel that was constantly busy and affordable. We made a reservation for four nights. After one night, we left and returned to Bangkok! As stated, the driveway is a little disarray, but when we checked, we saw only one additional room being utilized the night we stayed. We carried our luggage from car to the check-in desk, where we were greeted by a lone man. During our stay, we saw only a handful of staff. There was a substantial hole in the ceiling in the structure where we were staying in. The room was filthy, dusty, and musty. I believe the maid simply cleans the bathroom and removes the bed sheets and towels. Very poor breakfast. The bathrooms in the two rooms we had weren't heated. We went to check out. The hotel is in a great position, close to a beautiful beach, etc. It simply needs attention and care, painting, and furnishings. The Palmeraie Beach Hotel proprietors are either attempting to restore it to its former glory or make it pass away.

This place is good because of the beaches and the pool areas. Breakfast is good in the morning but gets boring after two days. The rooms are old and basic, small, old, with few channels and very poor. Other things are fine. When I looked around, there were only two staff who could be cheerful and willing to help.

This hotel offers first class American breakfast and an excellent service. The swimming pool was spotlessly clean. However, the hotel requires a new coat of paint inside and out, and the road that leads to it is crowded with potholes, and a building to the right of the road puts you on the way. But this building is not affiliated with the hotel and appears to be fine after a left turn and then a right after taking a left and right.

Palmeraie beach hotel is situated in rayon, a province in Thai country that is probably best known to tourists as the site where the boats leave for Ko Samui. It takes about 3 hours to drive from Bangkok, but you will need your own transportation to get there because it is a little off the beaten track. The hotel is situated on a narrow road about halfway between the more popular beaches of Sun Son and Mae Pim, directly on a lovely, tranquil beach. Contrary to some older reviews, I suppose they recently started cleaning the beach, which is clean, and is clean, as opposed to some older reviews. The beach is nice to relax on, swim, and sunbathe, but there isnt really anything else within walking distance of the hotel no shops, massage, restaurants, etc. If you want to go out to eat or to check out another beach, you must drive a few kgs either to Mau Son or Mau Son, or perhaps for a quick drive away. But, the locations are good for those who just want to unwind on a peaceful beach. The hotel restaurant is fairly basic but excellent, serving decent Thai food in the evening and at affordable prices. Not exactly gourmet, but nice enough, and it's always enjoyable to have a seaside restaurant just a few yards away from your table. Breakfast was fine, but nothing more, and I can see it getting
