The beds weren't the most comfy despite the recent renovations and were spotlessly clean, which was spread over a wellkept yard that led down to the river. The checkin process was quick and easy, the rates were extremely reasonable, and the brunch was impressive. Our family of six stayed at the hotel for two nights. The pools were a hit with the kids, and on one of the nights we also had a good, though expensive, Thai dinner at the inhouse restaurant. The service was pleasant, and we arrived at the citys center in less than ten minutes.

We booked this place through Troy at sup hire Thailand because Royal River Kai Resort Hotel is their partner hotel. The staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and wellkept. The rooms were comfortable except the beds are on the hard side. We had a good breakfast buffet on the weekend, but the weekday morning breakfast was off a limited a la carte menu. This is understandable because there are so few guests staying here. I would certainly stay here again. I highly recommend booking this resort through sup hire Thailand. We also booked cycling and sup activities with sup hire.

A charming oldstyle family resort on the river banks The Royal River Kai Resort is a great place to stay in Kanchanaburi. This hotel is one of Thailand's older style hotels, with very wellkept grounds, spacious rooms with lots of closet space, and not in the city center, the entertainment scene is quite far away. The spa was our highlight. The spa had a wonderful old Thai massager in the lovely glass room right next to the river. The place was peaceful and the crowds were sparse.

The room was spacious with the largest bed I've ever seen. The location is excellent, dinner by the riverside is very good, the staff is very courteous and the entire area including the river bank is very clean.

The rooms are not huge but suitable for a couple. The rooms are nice, clean and nicely decorated, the pool is large, and breakfast is served in an open and covered area in the evening you can sit in a restaurant by the river.
